ON THE AIR ARTISTRY YOUNG VIOLINISTS TO APPEAR ON PRIME-TIME TELEVISION SHOW.

AGOURA HILLS - A half-dozen young musicians from Lindero Canyon Middle School Lindero Canyon Middle School is a public middle school in suburban Agoura Hills, California. It is located west of Morrison Ranch district and north of Lake Lindero. It serves the entire city of Agoura Hills and is one of three middle schools of the Las Virgenes Unified School  have fiddled their way onto prime-time television, with a coming appearance on a new CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  comedy series.

The six students will be featured in a dream sequence on ``Kate Brasher,'' earning $150 for the five hours it took to film a two-minute scene of them playing their violins and making funny faces.

Students were selected because they best fit the role of youngsters 8 to 10 years old.

While the students are all expected to be visible in the two-minute scene, it is their music - a waltz - that will be the star.

``It will definitely be the children's music that we'll be hearing,'' said Carolyn Abe-Ishii, Erika's mother. ``They are playing while the scene was shot, and they also recorded it afterwards.''

Before students were allowed to appear in the show, they had to acquire work permits, Alex said. And work it was.

``It was hard,'' he said. ``They didn't need us for much of the time, but they made us stand up. If the camera got too close we had to do it again. We did it a lot of times.''
