acquired Aduro, a California-based high-speed optical interface module
manufacturer, on December 30, 2005.
OMRON set up OMRON Network Products as a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary
A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.
Notes: In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners. of
its Americas See ITS. operation company OMRON Management Center of America on
December 1, 2005. Aduro was acquired through OMRON Network Products.
The new company OMRON Network Products develops and produces
10GbE-LX4 receiver modules, as well as 1-10Gb transmission and receiver
modules for video signal transmission.
OMRON plans to launch US-made optical interface modules in Japan in
spring 2006.
