OHIO FARM BUREAU NAMES JEANNERET DIRECTOR OF MEDIA RELATIONS

 COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Doug Jeanneret has been named director of media relations for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) according to C. William Swank, OFBF executive vice president.
 He is filling the post vacated by Susie Taylor who held the position for nearly three years.
 Jeanneret previously served as OFBF organization director representing Fairfield, Hocking, Pickaway, and Ross counties.
 "Never has the dissemination of factual information been more important to agriculture," Jeanneret said. "I am looking forward to this challenge as we continue to remind people that we have the most abundant, nutritious, and inexpensive food supply in the world."
 Prior to his position as organization director, Jeanneret worked with the State of Ohio for the Division of Parks and Recreation and for the Division of Wildlife.
 He is a 1978 graduate of Hocking College with an associate degree in applied science and also holds a bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University's College of Agriculture as well as a master's degree from the School of Journalism.
 Jeanneret is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and the National Trappers Association and is an avid outdoorsman.
 He and his wife, Sharon, have one child - Alexandria, 3, and are expecting their second child in August. Their residence is near Circleville.
