OHIO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE WELCOMES CHINESE DELEGATION

 COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) director Fred L. Dailey will welcome a ministry of agriculture delegation from the People's Republic of China Nov. 20 during a reception from 11 a.m. to noon at the Bricker & Eckler Law Firm, 100 S. Third St., Columbus, Ohio.
 The reception will help introduce the group to Ohio's agribusiness leaders. Representatives will be visiting Columbus to explore trade opportunities and evaluate Central Ohio as a site for a proposed trade management training center. The delegation is interested in purchasing harvesting equipment, commercial poultry production lines, herbicides and agribusiness software.
 "This is a very exciting prospect for Ohio's agricultural industry," said Dailey. "We definitely want to encourage good trade relationships with the Chinese," continued Dailey.
 The reception is co-sponsored by the Ohio Farm Bureau, the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, the SINO~Ohio Center and the Bricker & Eckler law Firm.
 The Ohio Department of Agriculture is committed to strengthening international relationships to ensure that Ohio's producers gain access to global markets.
