PALMDALE - A suspected drug dealer was arrested after two months of eluding e·lude

Luis Martinez, 23, had been sought since deputies found a stolen gun and drugs during a search in November of his Lasker Avenue home, said Sgt. Kyle Bistline, leader of Palmdale's Partners Against Crime unit.

``He wasn't there, but found at the location was a large amount of methamphetamine methamphetamine (mĕth'ămfĕt`əmēn): see amphetamine; methedrine.  and a gun. When we found him this time, once again he had a large amount of methamphetamine and a gun,'' Bistline said.

Martinez, an ex-convict and reputed reputed adj. referring to what is accepted by general public belief, whether or not correct.  gang member, was arrested Friday afternoon in Lancaster in a car deputies stopped near Avenue L and 20th Street West, after getting a tip he would be in the area.

Martinez was booked for a warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a stolen gun from the November search at his home, deputies said. He was also booked on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of a concealed con·ceal
