He praised Kilby's work, thanking the police officer for saving his wife who was his world. Simmons' husband wanted to further thank Kilby, but died a few months ago. So, Simmons and the bank honored Kilby instead. ``He deserves all of the praise that is given to him,'' Simmons said. ``He (her husband) would have liked to have been there to thank Sgt. Kilby.'' |
