OCS TECHNOLOGIES SECOND QUARTER RESULTS REVENUES UP 189 PERCENT TO $6.9 MILLION

 RICHMOND, British Columbia, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- OCS Technologies Corp. (Toronto, Vancouver: OCS) today announced that the company continued it strong financial performance in the second quarter of fiscal year 1994. Revenues for the quarter ended Oct. 31, 1993, of $6,981,732 were $4,563,828 or 189 percent greater than the $2,417,904 for the corresponding period last year. The net profit for the quarter of $669,618 was $1,710,299 or 164 percent greater than the net loss of $1,040,681 for the same period last year. Earnings per share for the second quarter were $0.05 per share compared to a loss of $0.15 per share for the second quarter last year.
 Revenues for the 6 month period ended Oct. 31, 1993, of $14,262,828 were $9,410,134 or 194 percent greater than the revenues of $4,852,694 for the corresponding period last year. The company recorded a net income of $1,318,109 for the 6 month period which represents an increase of $2,983,582 or 179 percent over the net loss of $1,665,473 for the same period last year. Earnings per share for the 6 month period were $0.11 per share compared to a loss of $0.25 per share for the corresponding period last year.
 The comparative financial statements for the prior year have been restated to reflect the sale of the company's Geographic Information systems subsidiary, EPS Essential Planning Systems, which occurred effective April 30, 1993.

 Sept. 13 -- The Government of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, has notified OCS of its decision to take advantage of OCS's new open systems Offender Management software product.
 OCS purchased the Corrections Administration Records Entry system from the Province of British Columbia in November 1990. OCS subsequently re-wrote this application to meet the automation needs of customers in both the United States and Canada. This new product, marketed by the company as the Offender Management System ("OMS"), provides many improved functions and a lower cost to operate. The new OMS product will reduce the Province's operating costs, improve productivity, and provide significant savings to all British Columbia taxpayers.
 OCS Technologies' corporate office is located in Richmond, British Columbia, and its operational head office is located in Pleasanton, Calif. The company's primary business is the supply of Justice Information Systems and Services. OCS's software products and services are used by Public Safety Agencies, including Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Health Services, Municipal and County Courts, Prosecutor's Office, and in the administration of Jails, Prisons, Parole, and Probation Agencies. OCS helps these important public sector agencies do their job better for everyone.
