OCE 9300 PRINTER INCREASES PRODUCTIVITY AND REDUCES COSTS.

The new Oce 9300 wide-format plain paper laser printer -- with high-speed output of two E-size documents per minute --offers up to ten times more productivity than comparable wide-format printers and plotters while reducing operating costs by as much as two-thirds. The new printer will start at a base price of $12,995 for the two-roll version and $10,995 for the one- roll version. The new printer meets the needs of medium and large architectural and engineering departments.

For increased productivity and low maintenance, the Oce 9300 requires no toner cartridge changes and prints require no drying period. Its two-roll media feeder holds 500 feet per roll and the toner reservoir can last for more than 500 prints, enabling extended operation between supply changes.

The Oce 9300 is the latest addition to the Oce Wide Format Printing Systems line of multifunctional copying, printing and scanning systems. It makes on-demand printing on plain paper affordable and efficient for CAD and EDM applications.

High image quality is maintained with Oce's enhanced-resolution technology that makes the Oce 9300's printouts cleaner and sharper. Oce's exclusive plain paper/toner system ensures smudge-free, no-fade prints to be used for internal distribution and checking, as well as for external distribution. And, as with many other Oce products, the Oce 9300 incorporates environmentally friendly design features, such as a closed toner system that requires no chemicals and is completely recyclable.

Efficient plot management features allow automatic nesting, rotation and positioning of drawings to minimize media consumption. The autoposition function guarantees that vector and raster drawings will be printed to fit the size of the page - reducing plot clipping and saving up to 75 percent of the paper.

Dedicated Oce print drivers for Windows and AutoCAD support the Oce 9300 as well as other Oce printers and HDI output drivers are integrated standard in AutoCAD 2000 software. Oce's utility software, Oce Plot Director, enables programming, job printing of multiple document sets and complete customization of plots from every user workstation. And, the Oce 9300 is capable of remotely printing multiple document sets, making it useful for printing pre-release documents.
