OBN Holdings, Inc. President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Roger Neal Smith commented on the fiscal year end results. "We're thrilled with the things we've been able to produce this past year," he said. "Our Four Tops Special has been the most celebrated and successful endeavor to date, and we're proud of the many other projects we've been able to accomplish."

2005 highlights include:

--One major project that was completed was the production of The Four Tops 50th Anniversary Special. The program was syndicated to eighty million households via television station affiliates of ABC ABC

Three of the completed productions received Telly Awards According to the web site, the Telly Awards "recognize distinction in creative work," honoring outstanding local and regional television commercials and productions, as well as non-broadcast video productions. The Telly Awards were founded in 1978 by David E.  for excellence in production quality.

--The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

--For fiscal year end June 30, 2005, the company launched a third broadcast network, All Sports Television Network (ASTN ASTN Automatic Switched Transport Network (optical networks)

), to complement Omni Broadcasting Network There is also OMNI Television in Canada.
The Omni Broadcasting Network is a small over-the-air broadcast television network in the United States (not to be confused with the Canadian broadcast system OMNI Television).

--In addition, the company in April 2005 negotiated a long term contract for satellite uplink services with another uplink provided, which reduced costs by 23%.

--In July 2005 OBNH installed a $100,000 in-house customized master control/playback system, which affords the company increased flexibility in programming and advertising insertion. It has also reduced costs by 84% over contracted services previously used.

--OBNH also added over 200 film titles to its library by acquiring licensing rights and completing projects that were in production.

--The company also completed its Music on Demand pilot series, and developed Video Music Showcase, both of which are being broadcast on Omni.

The company was able to increase Omni's broadcast hours from less than thirty-two hours to over sixty hours per week during this fiscal year. ASTN, which launched in July 2005, broadcasts twenty-eight hours of programming per week, which POD broadcasts eighty hours each week. In total, OBNH's subsidiaries broadcast nearly 168 hours of programming each week.

OBNH is continually evaluating programming and licensing submitted by independent production companies in an effort to provide the best programming for its affiliates. In addition, the company will continue to produce its own original television programming.

--The company is aggressively developing new television programs for Omni Broadcasting Network. Management continues to meet with independent television producers who have approached the network with show ideas.

--Given the success of The Four Tops show, the company will continue to syndicate programs produced in-house. A syndicator is under contract.

--The company has refocused programming from infomercials to music series with inserted short-form advertising for Products On Demand because these formats are more profitable and predictable. The company will continue marketing the airtime available on POD to independent television program distributors and small television networks.

--OBNH is expanding its sales operations to include international distributors, an outside advertising sales company, and a dedicated in-house sales team. They will also continue their efforts to establish sales offices in Asian, Africa and other international markets.

--OBNH will establish limited liability companies or limited partnerships, and use investor funding to finance major productions.

--OBNH will continue to minimize expenses by keeping tight controls over expenses, hire additional staff only as needed as needed prn. See prn order. , and when feasible, continue to have support and production staff provide services to all of the OBN entities.
