"Gene" Bearden

HARRISBURG - A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Valley Christian Center in Harrisburg for Chesley Eugene "Gene" Bear-den of Harrisburg. He died Dec. 7 of multiple organ failure at age 66.

He was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Bartles-ville, Okla., to Bob and Ada Mae Applebee Bearden. He married Joyce Holt on Aug. 24, 1994, in Eugene.

Bearden worked for Eugene Standard Veneer and the Pierce Corporation. He had a high school education.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lance of Harrisburg; a daughter, Penny Mayhew of Eugene; two stepdaughters, Karla Pollard of Junction City and Marla Blanshan of Sweet Home; a stepson, Ryan Raven of Halsey; a sister, Darla Howell of Eugene; a brother, Vic of Eugene; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Stanley Bloom

CROW - A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Crow for Stanley Bloom of Crow. He died Dec. 12 of age-related causes at age 79.

He was born May 18, 1928, in San Andreas, Calif., to Leonard and Helen Bloom. He married Janice Fry in May 22, 1951, in Eugene.

Bloom worked in the logging industry.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Clifford; three daughters, Denise, Lisa Mont-gomery and Carolyn O'Con; four siblings, Lyle Bloom of Roseburg, Joy Hulsey of Hardin, Mass., Don Bloom of Crow and Lola Gillespie of Eugene; 10 grandchildren and four great--grandchildren.

Barbara Clark

SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 14, at Eastside Baptist Church in Springfield for Barbara Joanne "Barb" Clark of Springfield. She died Dec. 9 of complications of diabetes. She was 51.

She was born May 20, 1956, in Cottage Grove to Joe and Roberta Kim-ble Williamson.

She was a homemaker and worked as a drug and alcohol counselor. She was educated through her junior year in high school.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Roberta and Wayne Bass; five children, Jennifer Clark and Stephanie Clark, both of Eugene, Charlie Clark and James Clark, both of Springfield, and Samantha Clark of Wyoming; two siblings, Cindy Williamson of Colorado and Randy Williamson of California; and five grandchildren.

Robert Dove

SPRINGFIELD - A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Odd Fellows Lodge in Coburg for Robert Dean Dove of Springfield. He died Dec. 12 of age-related causes at age 75.

He was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Wood Lake, Neb., to Dean and Evan Vian Dove. He married Gladys Hipp on Nov. 11, 1995, in Potter, Neb.

He made his career in the Navy and attained the rank of chief petty officer.

Survivors include his wife; several stepchildren; a brother, Leroy of Arkansas; and a sister, Edith Christien of Sydney, Neb.

Inurnment will be in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

Ronnie Kinnett

MONROE - Ronnie Ray Kinnett of Monroe died Dec. 9 of unspecified natural causes at age 61. No service is planned.

He was born March 6, 1946, in Lincoln, Neb., to Ralph and Bertha Rathbun Kinnett.

He graduated from Sheldon High School in Eugene in 1964. He served two tours of duty in the Navy in Vietnam from 1964 to 1971. Kinnett worked as a mechanic, a shear operator, and a shipping and receiving clerk.

Survivors include his domestic partner, Peggy Brewer; two sons, Brian Kinnett of Campbell, Calif., and Norman Harris of San Jose, Calif.; a brother, Lianold Kinnett of Canyonville, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Michael Koepke

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1670 Linden Ave. in Springfield for Michael Koepke of Eugene, who died Dec. 5 of cancer at age 52. A wake will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 29 at 355 River Road.

He was born Aug. 17, 1955, in Corvallis to Jerome and Blanche Koepke. He married Vickie Martinez on Aug. 26, 1995, in Eugene.

Koepke graduated from Churchill High School in Eugene and attended college. He worked as a carpenter for 33 years.

Survivors include his wife; his parents; a son, Nic of Washington; two stepdaughters, Chevonne Chavez of Eugene and Channan Young of Springfield; a brother, Niel Koepke of California; and eight grand-children.

Larry LeBlanc

SPRINGFIELD - Larry L. LeBlanc of Springfield died Dec. 8 of complications of meningitis at age 48. A family memorial gathering is planned.

He was born Feb. 22, 1959, in Portland to Jim and Billie Butler LeBlanc.

LeBlanc graduated from North Eugene High School. He served in the Army and the Navy, and worked for Starplex Security and Willamette Pool Tables.

Survivors include his parents and a brother, David LeBlanc, all of Eugene.

Dolores Palmer

SPRINGFIELD - Dolores "Dee" Palmer of Springfield died Dec. 10 of cancer at age 72. No service is planned.

She was born Dec. 18, 1934, in Bellingham, Wash., to George and Leona Abbott Lyness.

Survivors include two daughters, Corinne Thomas of St. Louis, Mo., and Annette Dunn of Pahrump, Nev.; a son, Keith Fuller of Springfield; two brothers, Bill Lyness and Jim Lyness, both of Washington; two sisters, Rita Reuther and Patty Davis, both of Washington; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Tamara Reab

Tamara "Tami" Reab of Eugene died Dec. 8 of cancer at age 53. No service is planned.

She was born Nov. 5, 1954, in Eugene to Bessie Nickoli.

She attended Churchill High School. She was a lab aide for the Institute of Molecular Biology at the University of Oregon.

Survivors include two daughters, Tara Usedom and Andrea Ruede, both of Eugene; two sisters, Cora Cline of Eugene and Kay McElvain of Springfield; a brother, Charles Wilson of Creswell; and five grandchildren.

Scott Snook

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at United Lutheran Church in Eugene for Scott Wayne Snook of Eugene. He died Dec. 11 of corticobasal ganglion degeneration at age 57.

He was born Nov. 7, 1950, in Modesto, Calif., to Joe and Jean Easttom Snook. He married Candyce Mohr on Aug. 1, 1975, in Lake Tahoe.

He graduated from Mojave High School in Mojave, Calif. He was a track operator at Emerald Valley BMX in Eugene, race director for BMX American Bicycle Association and owner of R&C BMX Racing and Bomber Designs. He owned custom framing businesses, including DesignWorks and ArtWorks in Eugene.

Survivors include his wife; his parents; two sons, Jody of San Diego and Zachary of Eugene; two daughters, Kristi Snook of Bakersfield, Calif., and Alex Snook of Eugene; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two infant grandsons, Corey Snook and Kristopher Snook, died previously.

Ellsworth Taylor

Ellsworth "Wayne" Taylor of Eugene died Dec. 10 of age-related causes at age 82. No service is planned.

He was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Chicago to Ellsworth and Hazel Zimmerman Taylor. He married Carolyn Kent in April 1947 in Chicago. She died in 1988.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as an electrical engineer and a sound engineer.

He is survived by a daughter, Marsha Taylor of Eugene.

David Wilkerson

ELMIRA - David A. Wilkerson of Elmira died Dec. 4 of lung cancer at age 72. No service is planned.

He was born Feb. 27, 1935, in North Bend to John and Elizabeth Browning Wilkerson. He married Eleanor Knuth on Sept. 3, 2007, in Corvallis.

Wilkerson served in the U.S. Navy. He worked in sales at Hirschey's and also sold recreational vehicles.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Douglas of Seattle; a daughter, Lisa Courtemanche of Portland; a brother, John of Salem; a sister, Margaret Ingram of Drain; and two grandchildren.

Lillie Wilson

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Lillie Mae Wilson of Midway City, Calif., formerly of Eugene. She died Dec. 8 of age-related causes at age 91. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Gardens after the funeral.

She was born July 16, 1916, in Drab, Ark., to Claude and Jennie Leverett Harris. She married Paul Wilson on July 3, 1937, in Aberdeen, Wash.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Opal Neuschwander and Ruthie Narboe, both of Midway City; a son, Claude of Eugene; three brothers, Cohen Harris of Springfield, Martin Harris of Hope, Ark., and Franklyn Harris of Bossier City, La.; a sister, Annie Burke, also of Hope; and seven grandchildren. Her husband died previously.
