NOTI - The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5 at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Calvin Wesley Fisk of Noti. He died Dec. 29 of age-related causes at age 84.
He was born Sept. 20, 1922, in Noti to Clifford and Sarah Belle Truesdale Fisk. His first wife, Charlotte, died in 1986. He married Thelma Baker on July 26, 1986, in Yachats.
He served in the Navy for 23 years, retiring at the rank of commander in 1965. He was an assistant dean of the graduate school and an associate professor at the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities. from 1966 to 1977, when he retired.

There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery). - The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove for Gladys Stella Kulm of Cottage Grove, who died Jan. 1 of age-related causes at age 93.
She was born Dec. 6, 1913, in Nebraska to Guy and Stella Preuniger Smith. She married Arthur Kulm on Aug. 15, 1933, in Naper, Neb. He died May 29, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Moody of Bend and Joyce "Sam" Thies of La Pine; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A son, Kenneth, died previously.

The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley, - The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in the Lancaster area near Junction City for Lorna Marilyn Madsen of Junction City. Madsen died Dec. 30 of age-related causes at age 83. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
She was born Feb. 13, 1923, in Peters, Neb., to Peter and Anna Peters Weyers. She married Virgil Madsen on Jan. 21, 1947, in Nebraska. He died Feb. 11, 1993.
She served in the Navy in World War II as a war plane instrument technician from 1943 to 1946. She also had worked as a bus driver, hairdresser, a driver for Avis and in the family businesses in farming, auctioning and real estate.
Survivors include four daughters, Marilyn Rigby of Littleton, Colo., Charlotte Howard of Eugene, Kathleen Shaw of Lambertville, Mich., and Annette Ordonez of Foster City, Calif.; two sons, Darrell of Junction City and Doyle of Chandler, Ariz.; three brothers, Orval Weyers and Leo Leo, in astronomy

He was born July 13, 1946, in Canon City, Colo., to John and Jeanette Ross Arnold. He married Susan Goodwater on Dec. 4, 1965, in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. .
Arnold served in the Navy for four years. He worked as a plumber-pipefitter for 38 years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kurt of Springfield; a daughter, Kelly Hemphill of Bend; a sister, Vesta Riddle of Merced, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

She was born June 24, 1926, in Sacramento to Freddie and Annie May Wristen. She married Billy Jack Rainey on July 29, 1960, in Sacramento. He died in 2003.
Rainey worked as a teletype operator in Sacramento.

She was born Dec. 9, 1914, in Coleman, Okla., to Henry and Hattie Fite Kendrick. She married James Woody on Jan. 31, 1935, in Willow, Okla., and they divorced in the early 1960s. She married Arthur Callaghan in 1961 in Las Vegas. He died Feb. 27, 1993.
She was a homemaker.
