Fairchild was born Aug. 29, 1952, in Texas to Deryll and Janie Eddy Lively. She married Mike Fairchild on April 21, 1979, in Eugene. She had lived in the Springfield area for 48 years. She graduated from the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities. and worked for Qwest for 23 years. She also was a teacher at Lane Community College for six years. The area beside a grave. funeral will be held Oct. 28 for John Albert Hildebrandt of Junction City, who died Oct. 25 of age-related causes. He was 87. Hildebrandt was born June 18, 1917, in Hooker, Okla., to Gerhardt and Anna Braun Hildebrandt. He married Marjorie Taylor on Sept. 17, 1946. He served in the Army as an ambulance driver in World War II. He later worked as a driver and delivery man for motor homes. His family said he enjoyed singing praise to God and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward Hahn of Monroe and Bob Hildebrandt of Fairbanks, Alaska; a daughter, Shirley Tyner of Keizer; a brother, David of South Hutchinson, Kan.; a sister, Betty Woelk of Newport, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A son, Donald, and two granddaughters died previously. Thursday's service will be at 11 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park in Junction City. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, making friends, swimming and shopping at thrift stores.
