Pulmonary embolism is an obstruction of a blood vessel in the lungs, usually due to a blood clot, which blocks a coronary artery. at age 58. He was born June 16, 1949, in Eugene to Wilbert and Josephine Jeske Beikman. Beikman served in the Army and attended college. He is survived by a brother, Robert of Springfield. Jerry Collins Jerry Collins (born 4 November 1980 in Apia, Samoa) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer and currently plays for the national team, the All Blacks. He has been capped 47 times for his country. MONROE - A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at Bellfountain Church for Jerry Lee Collins of Monroe, who died Aug. 23 of complications of pneumonia at age 46. He was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Corvallis to Thomas and Betty Rainey Collins. He attended classes at Lane Community College in auto body repair. Survivors include his mother, Betty Jo Ford of Springfield; and four siblings, Jane Brown of Harrisburg, Gary Collins of Findley, Ohio, John Collins of Monroe and Vonnie Bittner of Salem. Arrangements by McHenry's Funeral Home in Corvallis. Winnogene Foy Winnogene E. "Winno" Foy of Eugene died Aug. 18 of age-related causes at age 88. No service is planned. She was born July 6, 1919, in Ephrata, Wash., to William and Dema Dillon. She married Chuck Wilkins in 1944 and he died in 1975. She married Mike Foy in 1979. He died in 1986. She graduated from Washington State University Washington State University, at Pullman; land-grant and state supported; chartered 1890, opened 1892 as an agriculture college. From 1905 to 1959 it was the State College of Washington. in 1941 with a degree in home economics. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Ron Wilkins of Eugene; a brother, Paul Dillon of Bellingham, Wash.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sons, Charles Wilkins Sir Charles Wilkins (1749 – 1836), was an English typographer and Orientalist, notable as the first translator of Bhagavad Gita into English, and as the creator of the first Devanagari typeface. She was born July 14, 1933, in San Jose, Calif. She married Lloyd Gravatt on Aug. 9, 1951, in San Jose. She worked in Eugene as a school secretary at Sheldon, Churchill and North Eugene high schools. Survivors include two sons, Bennett Johnson and Douglas Gravatt, both of Eagle Creek; a sister, Jane Hepfler of Norco, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Arrangements by England's Eugene Memorial Chapel. Otho McCullen Otho "Cleo" McCullen of Eugene died Aug. 22 of pneumonia. He was 92. He was born July 16, 1915, in Saginaw, Mich., to Otho and Gladys Armstrong McCullen. He married Sybil Armstrong on Nov. 10, 1940, in Kalkaska, Mich. She died Nov. 30, 2002. McCullen worked as a contractor and consultant, designing and building the waste management treatment system for Walt Disney World Noun 1. She was born May 24, 1942, in Portland to Louis and Marjorie "Eunice" Hibbert Scruggs. She married Thomas Oroyan on Feb. 20, 1962, in Springfield. She graduated from North Salem High School North Salem High School is a secondary school in Salem, Oregon, United States, that was founded in 1906. Its graduating class of 2006 recently celebrated the school's one-hundred year anniversary. in 1960. She received a bachelor's degree from California State University Enrollment Oroyan worked in figure sculpture and as a doll artist, publishing several books on techniques and design of figure sculpture and doll making, and was the owner and publisher of Fabricat Design. She previously worked as a substitute teacher in Eugene, Springfield and Bethel school districts and in the high school equivalency program of the University of Oregon. She was an office administrator in an architectural firm for nine years. Survivors include her husband; her mother, Eunice Scruggs of Eugene; a son, Martin of London; a brother, David Scruggs of Portland; and two grandchildren. Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 14 in Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kaneohe. Donald Riggs Donald Eugene Riggs of Portland, formerly of Eugene, died Aug. 19 of age-related causes at age 78. No service is planned. He was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Murphysboro, Ill., to John and Mary Whitson Riggs. He married Peggy Swan on Nov. 30, 1947, in Murphysboro. She died Aug. 7, 1985. He married Ann McCormick on Aug. 27, 1989, in Iron Mountain, Mich., and she died Jan. 3, 1992. Riggs graduated from Murphysboro High School and attended Southern Illinois University Southern Illinois University, main campus at Carbondale; state supported; coeducational; est. 1869, opened 1874 as a normal school, renamed 1947. It has a center for archaeological investigation and a fisheries research laboratory. There is also a campus at Edwardsville. . He served in the military during the Korean conflict and worked as a consultant in the ink and coating field. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Sixkiller of Eugene and Julia Taggart of Sandy; a stepdaughter step·daugh·ter n.
