He began his career in radio and moved to TV to deliver continuity links for HTV in the 1960s and early 1970s. Joyce Nulf JUNCTION CITY - Joyce Iris Nulf of Junction City died July 24 of pneumonia at age 80. No service is planned. She was born Oct. 18, 1926, in La Grande to George and Marie Seevers Branch. She married David Nulf on Feb. 4, 1944, in Eugene. She had a high school education and was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Dan, Doug and Damin, all of Junction City; two daughters, Claudia Moug and Wanda Carter, both of Junction City; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Slinker graduated from Chemeketa Community College Chemeketa Community College is a community college located in Salem, Oregon, with smaller campuses in McMinnville, Dallas, Stayton, and Woodburn. Chemeketa serves more than 50,000 students each year in a district that covers 2,600 square miles in Marion, Polk, most of Yamhill, and in Salem in 1970 with an associate's degree in forestry. He worked for Delta Sand and Gravel for 27 years and previously worked as a road inspector for Lane County. Survivors include his wife; his parents, of Salem; two sons, Chris Slinker of Springfield and Brian Childs of Veneta; a sister, Sharon Foster of Salem; and one grandchild. Inurnment will be private.
