Sara Buchanan

OAKLAND - A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Elkton Christian Church for Sara Jeanette Buchanan of Oakland, who died July 23 of a brain hemorrhage. She was 57. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery). .

She was born Jan. 26, 1950, in Cottage Grove to May Etta "Mickey" Moon-Hubbard and Ariel Harding. She married Glen Buchanan on Oct. 12, 1989. in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. . She was previously married to Kirk Lancaster.

She graduated from Elkton High School in 1968 and served in the Air Force. She worked as a plant technician with the Plant Managers for five years.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Derek Lancaster of Fort Worth, Texas Fort Worth is the fifth-largest city in the state of Texas, 18th-largest city in the United States[1], and voted one of "America’s Most Livable Communities. ; a brother, Billy Hubbard of Sutherlin; and one grandchild.

Marjorie Cornelius

VENETA - The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene for Marjorie "Mom" Lovell Cornelius of Veneta. She died July 19 in an automobile accident Ask a Lawyer

Following the service, a gathering will be at Gospel Tabernacle Tabernacle (tăb`ərnăk'əl), in the Bible, the portable holy place of the Hebrews during their desert wanderings. It was a tent, like the portable tent-shrines used by ancient Semites, set up in each camp; eventually it housed the Ark  Church in Veneta.

She was born March 18, 1935, in Cottage Grove to Oliver and Genevieve McClure Shields.

She married Harvey "Russ" Cornelius in 1965 in Noti, and he died in June 1984. She married Hugh Miller Hugh Miller (1802 – 1856) was a self-taught Scottish geologist and writer and an evangelical Christian.

Born in Cromarty, he had an ordinary parish school education, but soon showed a remarkable love of reading and power of story-telling.
 Jr. in 1988 in Texas.

She graduated from Elmira High School

Elmira High School is a 4A public high school of about 500 students in Elmira, Oregon located approximately 15 miles from Eugene.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Bill Buring of California, Timothy Wilkerson of Veneta and Michael Wilkerson of Springfield; a daughter, Debra Cornelius of Veneta; three brothers, Harvey Shields of Canada, Alvin Shields of Washington and Marvin Keeler Keel´er

Larry Crowley

JUNCTION CITY - A celebration of life will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the former Junction City fire hall, 175 W. Seventh Ave., for Larry J. Crowley of Junction City. He died July 16 of bladder cancer bladder cancer

Malignant tumour of the bladder. The most significant risk factor associated with bladder cancer is smoking. Exposure to chemicals called arylamines, which are used in the leather, rubber, printing, and textiles industries, is another risk factor.
 at age 63.

He was born Feb. 25, 1944, in Eugene to James and Helen Starr Crowley. He married Linda Kowalski on May 7,1967, in Junction City.

Crowley served in the National Guard. He worked for Jones Plywood, was a purchasing agent for Blachly-Lane Electric Co-op and served 26 years in Junction City government.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Angela Norris of Junction City; a son, Aaron of Junction City; a sister, Deana Crowley of Junction City; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Remembrances to a hospice or the Junction City Police Department. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.

Walter Gerold

Walter H. Gerold of Salem, formerly of Fall Creek, died July 10 of cancer. He was 77. A private service was held July 13.

He was born June 8, 1930, in Berthoud, Colo., to William and Elsie Stille Gerold. He married Mary Beck on Jan. 31, 1953, in Corvallis.

Gerold graduated from Corvallis High School Corvallis High School may refer to:

 in 1947. He served in the Navy Seabees from 1955 to 1961. He worked as an electrician in Salem for many years.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jim and Tom, both of Keizer, and Randy of Salem; a brother, Lee of Portland; three sisters, Irene Hake hake: see cod.

Jack Glaze

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Jack Powell Glaze of Eugene. He died July 23 of unknown causes, pending autopsy results. He was 47. Following the funeral, a reception will be at Monta Loma Park Club House in Springfield.

He was born March 16, 1960, in Springfield to Awald and Lucille Powell Glaze.

Glaze completed three years of college. He worked as a salesman for Russell Stover stover

stalks of maize plants from which mature corn cobs have been harvested as grain, or grain sorghum plants from which heads have also been removed. The stover is usually fed by turning the cattle into the field and is subject to fungal infection, sometimes causing mycotoxicosis.

Survivors include his mother, of Eugene; a daughter, Madeline Glaze of Eugene; his former wife, Kellie Dial; and four brothers, Larry of La Grande, Garry of Baker City, Jerry of John Day and Steve of Miami, Okla.

Entombment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Oregon Ducks Athletic Fund for reinstatement of the baseball program.

James Ketchum

SPRINGFIELD - James Christopher "Buddy" Ketchum of Springfield died July 22 of Parkinson's disease Parkinson's disease or Parkinsonism, degenerative brain disorder first described by the English surgeon James Parkinson in 1817. When there is no known cause, the disease usually appears after age 40 and is referred to as Parkinson's disease. . He was 84. No service is planned.

He was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Durango, Colo., to Frank and Marcie Caulkins Ketchum.

Ketchum served in the Army. He worked in the merchant marine and was a truck driver for TNS TNS

transcutaneous neural stimulation.
 Construction in Sacramento.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Viduya of Sacramento and Kim Krebs-Fleehearty of Ollalla, Wash.; two siblings, Sammy Muse of Springfield and Frankie Spinella of Sacramento; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grand- children. A son, Kevin, and a daughter, Lona LaCasse, died previously.

Judith Moore

Judith Moore of Eugene died July 20 at age 49. The family chose not to list the cause of death. No service is planned.

She was born on May 9, 1958, in Germany to Waldmiers and Welta Vidolinch Skude.

Survivors include her father; two children, Lisa Milton and Aron Moore, both of Eugene; two sisters, Vicky and Linda, both of Germany; a brother, Henery of California; and three grand- children.

Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation cremation, disposal of a corpse by fire. It is an ancient and widespread practice, second only to burial. Walter Morrison Jr.

Walter Warren Morrison Jr. of Eugene died July 23 of age-related causes at age 90. A private family memorial service is planned.

He was born Sept. 10, 1916, in Des Moines, Iowa “Des Moines” redirects here. For other uses, see Des Moines (disambiguation).

, to Walter and Myrtle Hood Morrison. He married Patricia Bartlett on Oct. 13, 1941, in Los Angeles. She died Sept. 23, 2000.

Morrison served as a major in the Army Signal Corps. He attended the University of California The University of California has a combined student body of more than 191,000 students, over 1,340,000 living alumni, and a combined systemwide and campus endowment of just over $7.3 billion (8th largest in the United States).  at Los Angeles and worked as a commercial real estate broker for Coldwell Banker for 42 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Duane Funk of Eugene and Kim Sciocchetti of Applegate; and four grandchildren. A daughter, Lynn Hotka, died previously.

Philip Sands

FLORENCE - A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Community Baptist Church in Florence for Philip Sands of Florence, who died July 19 at age 74. The family chose not to list the cause of death.

He was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Lewiston, Maine, to Daniel and Edith Batley Sands. He and his wife, Cheryl, were married in 1965.

Sands entered the Army in 1954 and served in Korea. He later was a trumpet player for the 25th Division Army Band in Hawaii. He held a degree in music from Palomar College in Vista, Calif., and studied music at San Diego State University San Diego State University (SDSU), founded in 1897 as San Diego Normal School, is the largest and oldest higher education facility in the greater San Diego area (generally the City and County of San Diego), and is part of the California State University system. . He worked as a personnel manager for the San Diego County Water Authority.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Donna Kuhn of Newport Beach, Calif.; two sons, John Sands of Burbank, Calif., and Jeff Jordan of Villa Grande, Calif; and one grandchild.
