Byline: The Register-Guard

Jack Buker

SPRINGFIELD - The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield for Jack Orien Buker of Springfield. He died June 30 of a stroke at age 83.

He was born May 18, 1924, in Grass Valley to Paul and Edna Nelson Buker. He and his wife, Jackie, were married July 3, 1976, in Salem.

Buker graduated from Albany High School Albany High School is the name of several public and independent secondary schools in the United States:
  • Albany High School, California in Albany, California
  • Albany Science College formerly Albany High School, in Chorley
 in 1942. He was a salesman and most recently worked in mobile home sales in the Eugene area.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jill Page of Boise; three sons, Paul of Portland, Jack of Boise and Mark of Honolulu; and 11 grandchildren. His first wife, Florence St. Germain Buker, died previously.

Johnn French

A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 8, at 333 W. Fifth Ave. in Eugene for Johnn Dominique French of Eugene. He died June 29 at age 41. The family chose not to list the cause of death.

He was born Jan. 6, 1966, in Lewiston, Idaho Lewiston is the county seat of and largest city in Nez Perce County, Idaho, United States. It is the second largest city in the Idaho Panhandle region behind Coeur d'Alene. , to Lester and Carol Johnson Carol Alfred Johnson (1903 - 30 July 2000) was a British Labour politician. He was Member of Parliament for Lewisham South from 1959 until the general election of February 1974, when the constituency was abolished by boundary changes. References  French.

Survivors include a son, Tyson; two daughters, Jordan Ortloff and Kamryn Ortloff; and a sister, Caroll Ann French.

Phyllis Falk

JUNCTION CITY Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859.  in Junction City for Phyllis Ruth Falk of Junction City. She died June 30 of age-related causes at age 86.

She was born Jan. 31, 1921 in Platte Center, Neb. to Otto and Louise Habbensiefken Wetgen. She married Everett Falk on Oct. 1, 1941 in Halsey.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Falk of Eugene, Carole Beebe of Bozeman, Mont., and Tami Durbin of Junction City; a son, Larry of Albany; a brother, Kenneth Wetgen of Halsey; a sister, Doreen Sprenger of Shedd; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband died April 4, 2003.

Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to the church's building fund or Junction City Fire and Rescue.

Herbert Foster

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Herbert Collins Foster of Eugene. He died June 30 of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) (ā'mīətrōf`ik, sklĭrō`sĭs) or motor neuron disease,  at age 64.

He was born May 10, 1943, in Franklin, N.H. He married Marion "Penny" Robinson on June 16, 2000, in Burbank, Calif.

Foster served in the Navy for four years, including service in Vietnam. He worked as an electrical systems manager.

Survivors include his wife; four children, David Foster of Corvallis, Carolyn Foster of Salem, Christopher Robinson of Santa Anna, Calif., and Suzannah Holt of Eugene; two sisters, Bea Owens of Seminole, Texas and Rosalie Robbins of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Maurice of Anna, Texas; and two grandchildren. His first wife, Barbara Hiller, died previously.

Hazel Sprague

DEXTER - Hazel Jean Sprague of Dexter died July 1 of age-related causes at age 78. A private celebration of life is planned.

She was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Martin and Ruth Lange Wade. She married Jethro Sprague in 1963, in Reno, Nev.

Dorothy Lehman

 service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Forestvale Memorial Park in Oakridge for Dorothy H. Hill Lehman of Dallas, formerly of Oakridge. She died June 27 of age-related causes at age 96.

She was born Jan. 2, 1911, in Independence to Clyde and Stella Perl Martin Hill. She married in June 1935.

She had worked as a teacher.

Her husband died March 15, 1994. Arrangements by Oakridge Chapel of the Woods.
