Mildred Dyer

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Church of Jesus Christ Church of Jesus Christ may refer to:

 of Latter-day Saints at 3500 W. 18th Ave. in Eugene for Mildred Ellen Dyer of Preston, Idaho, formerly of Eugene. She died June 15 of age-related causes at age 90.

She was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Council Bluffs, Iowa Council Bluffs is the county seat of Pottawattamie County, Iowa, United States[1] and is on the east bank of the Missouri River. As of a 2006 census estimate, the city had a total population of 60,271. , to Ellis and Lulu Farrell Lang. She married Elvin Dyer on Aug. 11, 1934, in Vancouver, Wash.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Turner of Preston, Idaho; a sister, Marjorie Lomax of California; five grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her husband died Dec. 3, 2002, and a son, Edwin, and a grandson, Lance, died previously.

Burial will be Friday at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.

 - A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Upper McKenzie Community Center for Herbert E. Kallman of Vida. He died June 14 of age-related causes at age 94.

He was born Oct. 20, 1912, in Worchester, Mass., to John and Mary Inborr Kallman.

Kallman served in the Army. He attended Bethel College and Colgate College, and worked as a professional gospel song writer.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Swain of Vida; a sister, Melba Miner of Warwick, R.I.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery Willamette National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery in Clackamas County, Oregon, about 10 miles southeast of the city of Portland, Oregon. It encompasses 269.4 acres, and as of the end of 2005, had 126,561 interments.  in Portland. Arrangements by Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene.

Frances Nicholson

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Springfield for Frances Edna "Marie" Nicholson of Eugene. She died June 18 of age-related causes at age 92.

She was born Oct. 14, 1914, in Roseburg. She married Ralph Miller in 1933 in Glide, and he later died. She married Howard Nicholson in 1945 in Grants Pass.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two children, Merriel Bradley of Springfield and Jacqueline Nicholson of Eugene; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grand-children and two great-great-grandchildren. Both husbands; two sons, Harold Miller and Larry Miller; and a stepdaughter step·daugh·ter

Helen Luke

LOWELL - A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lowell for Helen Luke of Lowell. She died June 16 of age-related causes at age 92.

She was born March 8, 1915, in Iowa to August and Dora Hansen Kuhlman. She married Neal Luke on April 4, 1942, in Iowa.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Jim of Lowell. Her husband died previously.

He was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Mount Angel to George and Theresa Komp May. He married Luisa Schiraldi on April 25, 1946, in Naples, Italy.

May served in the military in World War II. He was a financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus Knights of Columbus, American Roman Catholic society for men, founded (1882) at New Haven, Conn. (where its headquarters are still located), by Father Michael J. McGivney.  for four years and worked for Southern Pacific Railroad "Southern Pacific" redirects here.  for 44 years.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, George of Portland and Clement and Michael, both of Eugene; a daughter, Dolores Dolores (or Delores) was a common given name (until the 1960s in the USA); it is cognate with the English word "dolorous" (meaning sorrowful) and equivalent in meaning.  Gardner of Eugene; a sister, Lavita Hubert of Albany; and nine grandchildren.

Private burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene. Remembrances to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Jedidiah Nielsen

He was born July 7, 1983, in Placerville, Calif., to John Nielsen and Brenda McWhorter Lawson.

He attended public and home schooling and worked as a handyman.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, James Lawson and Joshua McWhorter, both of Indiana, and Michael Scott of Cave Junction; two sisters, Rachael Lawson of Cave Junction and Nomada Lawson of Florence; and a grandmother, Wanda Bright of Indiana.

Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation cremation, disposal of a corpse by fire. It is an ancient and widespread practice, second only to burial. Sarah Patton

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is home to a New Jersey Synod congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our Redeemer is located in the city of Dumont, New Jersey.

The congregation recently celebrated its 75th anniversary.
 in Eugene for Sarah Lynn Patton of Portland, formerly of Eugene, who died June 11 of unknown causes, pending test results. She was 30.

She was born May 12, 1977, in Eugene to Gary and Sandra Patton. She graduated from Willamette High School Willamette High School is a school in Eugene, Oregon.

Willamette, or "Wil-Hi," is located in the Bethel-Danebo area of west Eugene, and is the only high school in the Bethel School District.
 and attended Lane Community College. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her mother; a son, Gregory Lefever of Portland; a daughter, Lily Lefever of Portland; a sister, Kristina Patton; grandmother, Miriam Sheschek; and her domestic partner of four years, Simon Lefever.

H. Charles Pyron

DEXTER - H. Charles "Chuck" Pyron of Dexter died June 15 of cancer at age 69. A private service is planned.

He was born July 4, 1937, in Inglewood, Calif., to Harley and Roberta Picklesimmer Pyron. He and his first wife, Sharon, were married June 14, 1958, in Laguna Beach, Calif. She died Sept. 17, 1995. He married Martha Newman on Oct. 29, 2005, in Jacksonville.

Pyron held a Ph.D. in industrial communication from Purdue University. He worked as an organizational development consultant and was a professor at the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities. . He founded the Oregon Leadership Institute, working there for more than 30 years. He had served as an interim president of Northwest Christian College Northwest Christian College is a private, liberal arts college located in Eugene, Oregon and is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. .

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Terri Bennink of Portland and Sheri Pyron of Eugene; a stepson step·son
