She worked for The Register-Guard in advertising sales from 1951 to 1959. She later worked for The World in Coos Bay and was a whistle punk in the logging industry. Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Carlson of Medford and Diane Lenahan of Lakewood, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children and six great-great-grandchildren. Keith Suter Dr Keith Suter is a consultant on strategic planning and a futurist. His first doctorate was in the international law of guerrilla warfare and his second in the economic and social consequences of the arms race. Sr. Keith E. Suter Sr. of Springfield died Feb. 27 of age-related causes. He was 79. No service is planned. He was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Centralia, Wash., to Burton and Viola Suter. He and his wife, Catherine, were married Nov. 19, 1954, in Springfield. She died Jan. 17, 2006. Suter worked at Weyerhaeuser until his retirement. Survivors include two sons, Keith Jr. and Timothy, both of Springfield; a brother, Arnold of Springfield; and a grandchild. A son, John, died previously. He was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Martinsburg, W.Va., to Thomas and Louise Wilson Getts. He married Rozell Robertson on June 23, 1946, in Reno, Nev. Getts served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for Georgia-Pacific for 35 years, building mills. He was a sawmill sawmill, installation or facility in which cut logs are sawed into standard-sized boards and timbers. The saws used in such an installation are generally of three types: the circular saw, which consists of a disk with teeth around its edge; the band saw, which manager in Alabama for 10 years. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lisa Getts of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and a grandchild. A son, William, died previously.
