Ralph Sunderland

 Catholic Church in Eugene for Ralph C. Sunderland of Eugene, who died Aug. 4 of brain cancer. He was 75.

He was born July 25, 1931, in Blue Springs, Neb., to Amos and Hattie Anderson Sunderland. He married Jeannette Waser on Oct. 7, 1950, in Salem.

Sunderland served in the Marine Corps for four years during the Korean War Korean War, conflict between Communist and non-Communist forces in Korea from June 25, 1950, to July 27, 1953. At the end of World War II, Korea was divided at the 38th parallel into Soviet (North Korean) and U.S. (South Korean) zones of occupation. .

For 25 years, he worked as budget director and chief administrator for the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities. .

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gary of Astoria, Scott of Eugene and Mark of San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay. ; eight sisters, Bette Rollins, Linda Pellum and Dorothy Buchzik, all of Portland, Gladys Shields, Mary Green Mary Green is a British television presenter currently presenting Thames Valley Tonight on ITV Thames Valley, covering the Central South and Meridian West regions.  and Margie Anderson, all of Salem, Norma Baumann of Stayton and June Taylor June Taylor ( 14 Dec 1917-17 May2004) was an American choreographer.

Born in Chicago, Taylor was a nightclub dancer until she developed tuberculosis at age 20. She took up choreography, founding, in 1942, her own troupe of dancers, the June Taylor Dancers
 of Turner; three brothers, Henry of Nyssa, Max of Rupert, Idaho Rupert is the county seat and largest city of Minidoka County, Idaho, United States.GR6 The population was 5,645 at the 2000 census.

Ben Campbell

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Eastside Christian Church in Albany for Ben J. Campbell of Albany, formerly of Veneta, who died Aug. 4 of age-related causes. He was 93.

He was born July 25, 1913, in Ackerman, Miss., to Samuel and Parthena Cobb Campbell.

He married Marguerite Picard on Aug. 6, 1944, in Klamath Falls. She died Oct. 12, 1995. He married Joy Rahm on Feb. 19, 2000, in Albany.

Campbell served in the Navy during World War II. He was a longtime rural mail carrier.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carol Thurber of Albany, Carolyn Kinzer of Portland and Linda Sini of Marietta, Calif; three sons, Richard of Portland, Tim Rahm of Albany and Jason Rahm of Salem; a brother, Douglas; three sisters, Irma, Myrrah and Lovie; one grandchild, 11 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Private burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Arrangements by Fisher Funeral Home in Albany. Remembrances to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice.
