Lorraine Sutten

Lorraine Margaret Sutten of Elmira died July 22 of age-related causes. She was 85.

She was born July 30, 1921, in Rochester, Minn., to Conrad and Helen Barbkneet Schutt. She married Valdie Sutten on July 31, 1941, in Eugene. He died Jan. 15, 1987.

She worked as a bookkeeper at K-Mart.

Survivors include a son, James of Elmira; a daughter, Joy Mosher A mosher is a person who is crossed between goth/punk/skater they have long hair and listen to music like slipknot and metal music. Some people call them headbangers. At certain music shows they have something called a mosh pit, basically its a fight pit with loads of people bashing each other.  of Woodburn; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

No service is planned. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation cremation, disposal of a corpse by fire. It is an ancient and widespread practice, second only to burial. Judy Charpentier

Judy Gleason Charpentier of Dodge City Dodge City, city (1990 pop. 21,129), seat of Ford co., SW Kans., on the Arkansas River; inc. 1875. The distribution center for a wheat and livestock producing area, it also packs meat and makes agricultural implements. , Kan., formerly of North Bend North Bend is the name of several places in the United States of America:

, died July 24 of heart failure at the age of 55.

She was born July 1, 1951, in Dodge City. She worked as a bookkeeper for the city of Dodge City.

Survivors include three brothers, Danny Gleason of Spearville, Kan., Butch Gleason of Dodge City, and K. D. Gleason of Wright, Kan.; and four sisters, Connie Jo Orrison, Sharon Esquibel and Jeri Lynn Jackson, all of Dodge City, and Pat Palmer of Portis, Kan.

Harvey Schanze

 funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Harvey John Schanze of Eugene, who died July 22 of age-related causes. He was 84.

He was born Dec. 22, 1921, in Fairbury, Neb., to Fredrick and Louise Becker Schanze. He married Betty Curry in Nebraska. They later divorced. He married Phyllis Rabun in 1980 in Eugene. She died June 27, 1993.

Schanze was owner and operator of Harv's Richfield for 18 years and worked as a janitor and in maintenance for the Eugene School District Eugene School District (4J) is a public school district in the U.S. state of Oregon. It serves the city of Eugene Elementary schools

 before his retirement in 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Mark of Estacada and Todd of Quincy, Wash.; two sisters, Lydia Dragoo of Fairbury and Katie Melvin of Colby, Kan.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jessie Clark

She was born Feb. 5, 1925, in Portland. She married James Clark Jr. on Sept. 19, 1945, in Missoula, Mont. She worked as a school bus driver.

Survivors include two sons, James III of Eugene and Joseph of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Eleanor Wolf of Yakima, Wash.; five brothers, Ted Duffin of Provo, Utah, Glen Duffin of Hay, Wash., Linden Duffin of Chester, Mont., Jim Duffin of Henderson, Nev., and Dale Duffin of Rexbury, Idaho; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband died previously.

James Huff

VENETA - James O'Dell Huff of Veneta died July 19 of cancer. He was 76.

He was born May 1, 1930, in Suffolk, Mont., to Fred and Mary Crawford Huff. He worked in the timber in- dustry.

Survivors include three daughters, Louise Mendoza of Klamath Falls, Paula Sutton of Sun Valley, Nev., and Mary Coon coon: see raccoon.  of Reno, Nev.; a son, Roger Huff of Myrtle Creek; two brothers, Bill of Green Valley, Ariz., and Dennis of Veneta; two sisters, Betty Hoefer of Salem and Arley Rooke of Coos Bay; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. One grandchild died previously.

A memorial service will be held Aug. 5 at his brother's home in Veneta. Arrangements by Alpha Cremation Services in Eugene.

Raymond Courture

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints This is a list of Latter Day Saints who have attained at least some level of fame and/or success. This list includes adherents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), as well as adherents of related denominations (as labeled).  in Cottage Grove for Raymond E. Courture of Cottage Grove. He died July 13 of lung cancer lung cancer, cancer that originates in the tissues of the lungs. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States in both men and women. Like other cancers, lung cancer occurs after repeated insults to the genetic material of the cell.  at age 64.

He was born Jan. 1, 1942, in Glendale, Calif. to Cyril and Lola Bliss Courture. He worked for Thomas Organ, for several computer companies and with aircraft control computer systems.

Survivors include his mother, Lola Mosby of Cottage Grove; two sisters, Carrol Bailey of Drain and Cindy Roberts of Susanville, Calif.; and one brother, Earnest of Olustee, Okla.
