OBITUARIES.Byline: The Register-Guard Verena Henderson WALTERVILLE - The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 22, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Verena I. Henderson of Walterville, who died June 15 of age-related causes. She was 93. She was born May 5, 1913, in Bardsdale, Calif., to Clayton and Lillie Bartow Howland. She married Walter Henderson on Jan. 12, 1933, in Oxnard, Calif. He died Nov. 22, 1983. She worked for 12 years at Chaffey Cafeteria in Ontario, Calif., was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. Survivors include a son, Walter of Walterville; a daughter, Bonnie Henderson of Walterville; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Entombment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
