There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery). for Eugene Cook of Drain, who died July 12 of age-related causes. He was 84. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Cook was born May 10, 1923, in Tellico Plains, Tenn., to Samuel and Anna Belle Davis Cook. He and his first wife, Gladys, were married July 31, 1942, in Blairsville, Ga. She died Jan. 15, 1972. He married Karen "Carrie" Blanchard in 1998 in Drain. He worked as a timber faller for more than 70 years. Survivors include his wife; seven sons: Oscar and Benjamin, both of Cottage Grove, John of Klamath Falls Klamath Falls, city (1990 pop. 17,737), seat of Klamath co., SW Oreg., at the southern tip of Upper Klamath Lake; inc. 1905. It is the processing and distribution center of a lumber, livestock, and farm area. , Quention of Orofino, Idaho Orofino ("fine gold" [ore] in Spanish) is a city in Clearwater County, Idaho, along the Clearwater River. The population was 3,247 at the 2000 census. The city is the county seat of Clearwater CountyGR6. , Samuel and Sid, both of Yoncalla and Charles of Creswell; two daughters: Pat Gushwa of Redmond and Juanita Clark of Cottage Grove; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She died July 10 of age-related causes. She was 79. Leighton was born Nov. 1, 1927, in Kapowsin, Wash., to Emma Schumacher Geer and Jesse Kendall. She married Kenneth Leighton Kenneth Leighton (b. Wakefield, October 2, 1929, d. Edinburgh, August 24, 1988) was an English composer. Leighton was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire and was a chorister at Wakefield Cathedral from 1937 to 1942. He earned the LRAM Piano Performer's Diploma in 1946. on Feb. 12, 1946, in Ellensburg, Wash. He died Feb. 19, 1985. She was educated in Seattle and graduated from Renton High School. She was a homemaker and caregiver. Survivors include four daughters: Juanita Reynolds of Renton, Dolores Dolores (or Delores) was a common given name (until the 1960s in the USA); it is cognate with the English word "dolorous" (meaning sorrowful) and equivalent in meaning. Booher of Yoncalla, Vickie Leighton of Seattle and Rebecca Fadich of East Wenatchee, Wash.; three sons, Kenny Jr. of Colville, Wash., Paul of Moclips, Wash., and Robert of Seattle; a sister, Janet Newell of Seattle; a brother, David Geer of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Timothy Singler SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Valley River Assembly of God Church in Eugene for Timothy William Singler of Springfield. He died July 9 of hemophilia at age 47. A reception will be at the church following the service. Singler was born Dec. 28, 1959, in Florence to Joseph and Mary Merryman Singler. He was educated in the engineering field, and he worked as a care facility supervisor. Survivors include his parents, of Eugene; two sons, Matthew Singler and Chaz Harriott, both of Springfield; a daughter, Michelle Singler of Spokane; four sisters: Sandra Singler and Katie Newton, both of Sierra Blanca, Texas Sierra Blanca is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 533 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Hudspeth CountyGR6. , Ida Wilson of Eugene and Rebecca Hanson of Veneta; and eight grandchildren.
