SPRINGFIELD - Laurine A. Schrock, 88, of Springfield, died March 7 of age-related causes. No service is planned.

She was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Waterloo, Iowa Waterloo is the county seat of Black Hawk County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 68,747. It belongs to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo Metropolitan Statistical Area, and is the larger of the two cities, by population. . She married Carl Schrock on Dec. 29, 1940, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 25, 1991.

Carl Bridges

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville, N.C., for Carl Bridges, 83, of Clyde, N.C., formerly of Eugene. He died March 8 of age-related causes. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born March 5, 1924, in Swain County, N.C., to Richmond and Nannie Raby Bridges. He married Betty Plemmons in June 2003 in Waynesville.

There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery). ; two daughters, Linda Querry of Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  and Margaret Eisenberg of Eugene; a brother, Lloyd of Bryson City, N.C.; two sisters, Dorothy Galloway of Waynesville and Mildred Burnette of Canton, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. His wife of 45 years, Thelma Stepp Bridges, and a daughter, Nannie Watson, died previously.

Burial will be in Waynesville.

 funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Weaverville Cemetery in Weaverville, Calif., for Dorotha Mae "Dot" Riley, 88, of Springfield, who died March 8 of age-related causes.

She was born Oct. 5, 1918, in Adin, Calif., to J. Phillip and Claraetta Weigand Miller. She married Euan "Rex" Riley on Dec. 25, 1942, in Redding Redding, city (1990 pop. 66,462), seat of Shasta co., N central Calif., on the Sacramento River; inc. 1872. A principal tourist center for a mountain and lake region, it also has lumbering, food-processing, and diverse manufacturing. , Calif.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, John of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Terry of Springfield; a brother, Ernest Miller
