Mabel Sullivan

COTTAGE GROVE Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  - The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Church of Christ in Cottage Grove for Mabel C. Sullivan of Cottage Grove, who died Feb. 28 of age-related causes. She was 92.

Sullivan was born March 14, 1914, in Cedardale, Okla., to Oliver and Alta Jones Harris. She married Ralph E. Sullivan on March 18, 1933, in Mooreland, Okla. He died May 13, 1999.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Leo Leo, in astronomy

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crawfordsville Union Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Remembrances to the Church of Christ building fund. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.

Mabel Alta Elliott

CRESWELL - The funeral will be Thursday, March 8, for Mabel Alta Elliott of Creswell, who died March 4 of age-related causes. She was 96.

She was born Nov. 1, 1910, in Yoncalla to Henry and Eliza Holcomb Parks. She married John Potter John Potter may refer to:
  • John Potter (footballer), Scottish footballer
  • John Potter (Archbishop) (c. 1674–1747), Archbishop of Canterbury
  • John Potter (Dean), Dean of Canterbury 1766–1770
 in Roseburg in 1928. He died in a logging accident in 1948. She married Alfred Elliott in Eugene in 1950. He died May 7, 1992.

She was a homemaker who also worked a variety of other jobs, including picking turkeys and cleaning slash at logging sites.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharlene Neff of Creswell, and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove. Thursday's funeral will be at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Yoncalla-Applegate Pioneer Cemetery.

He was born June 26, 1955, in Lodi Lodi, city, Italy

, Calif., to John and Frances Asquith. He married Kathy Bruni in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  on July 22, 1979.

Asquith worked as a construction contractor.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Jr. of Cottage Grove; two daughters, Andrea and Leah, both of Cottage Grove; his mother of Las Vegas; and a brother, Steven of Las Vegas.

A family memorial gathering has been held. Remembrances to Sacred Heart The Sacred Heart is a religious devotion to Jesus' physical heart as the representation of the divine love for humanity

This devotion is predominantly used in the Roman Catholic Church and also used in the Anglican Church.
