He was born Aug. 29, 1934, in Waldron, Ark., to J.I. and Ozzie Brothers. He married Barbara Wallace on Sept. 27, 1987, in Reno, Nev. Brothers worked at Kendall Ford for 35 years. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Ozzie Brothers; three daughters, Phyllis Fortier and Donna White, both of Eugene, and Sandra Fleshman of Redmond; a stepdaughter step·daugh·ter n. He was born Dec. 30, 1928, in Walton to Willard and Grace Luce Pettit. He married Wanda Ware in 1947 and they later divorced. He married Joyce Staats on May 9, 1953, and they divorced in 1972. Pettit served in the Army in the Korean War Korean War, conflict between Communist and non-Communist forces in Korea from June 25, 1950, to July 27, 1953. At the end of World War II, Korea was divided at the 38th parallel into Soviet (North Korean) and U.S. (South Korean) zones of occupation. as a tank operator. He worked in logging road construction and dam construction in Oregon. Survivors include two sons, Gary of Battle Ground, Wash., and Norman of La Jolla La Jolla (lə hoi`yə), on the Pacific Ocean, S Calif., an uninc. district within the confines of San Diego; founded 1869. The beautiful ocean beaches, in particular La Jolla shores and Black's Beach, and sea-washed caves attract visitors and , Calif.; a daughter, Sheryl McVea of Tualatin; two sisters, Mary Ballentine of Modesto, Calif., and Violet Williams of Springfield; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
