Lorene Stroud

COTTAGE GROVE Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  - The funeral will be Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, for Lorene Stroud, 76, of Cottage Grove who died Jan. 5 of age-related causes.

She was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Cleveland, Ark., to J.A. and Edith Leffler Eubanks.

She married Dewey Stroud in Cleveland, Ark., on May 25, 1950. He died in 2000.

She was a homemaker and later worked at McDonalds, Figaros and Price Chopper Price Chopper may refer to:

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Pruitt, of Cottage Grove; three sisters, Jo Freeman Jo Freeman (a.k.a. Joreen) (born 1945) is an American feminist and scholar noted for her feminist activism in the 1960s and 1970s. She is the author of The Tyranny of Structurelessness  and Ramona Thompson, both of Morrilton, Ark., and Mary Mitchell, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; a brother, John Eubanks John Eubanks (born July 13, 1983 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi) is an American Football Player who currently plays cornerback for the Washington Redskins. He was signed to the Redskins as an undrafted free agent. , of Kalama, Wash.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A son, Dennis, and three brothers died previously.

Elmer Jarvie

Elmer M. Jarvie of Eugene died Jan. 1 from complications from a fall at age 96. No service is planned.

Jarvie was born July 11, 1910, in Red Lodge Red Lodge could be

. She died previously.

He worked as a logger.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Hyatt of Black Rock, Ariz., and John Jarvie of Eugene; two daughters, Gail Morgan of Bandon and Olga Jarvie of Eugene; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren.

Kelly Hare

Kelly Hare of Duncan, Okla., formerly of Lane County, died Dec. 10 of a heart attack at age 41. No service is planned.

He was born Oct. 13, 1965, in Corvallis to Lawrence Hare and Charlotte Mayfield Jackson.

He had worked for Forest Paint, Brooks Auto Parts, Western Patch, Oregon Fence Co. and Precision prefinishing, Inc.

Survivors include his mother; two sons, Joshua Shaw of Duncan and Brady Shaw of Springfield; a daughter, Latricia Shaw of Springfield; a sister, Patricia Wicks of Duncan; and a brother, Richard Roebuck of Springfield.

Kaleb and Kasey Garton

CRESWELL - A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Mount Cavalry Chapel in Eugene for Kaleb and Kasey Garton of Creswell, twin brothers who died Jan. 3 from complications of premature birth premature birth

Birth less than 37 weeks after conception. Infants born as early as 23–24 weeks may survive but many face lifelong disabilities (e.g., cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness).
. Burial will follow at Mount Cavalry Cemetery.

The twins were born Jan. 3 in Eugene to Angela Hendricks and Beau Garton.
