Byline: The Register-Guard

Leonardo Perez

The funeral will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, for Leonardo Perez of Yuba City, Calif., formerly of Eugene, who died Nov. 22 at age 29. The family did not list a cause of death.

Perez was born April 28, 1977, in Hillsboro to Martin and Charlene Flanagan Perez. He was a farm laborer who lived in the Eugene area for four years.

Survivors include his parents of Yuba City; a daughter, Juanita Perez of Chico, Calif.; three brothers, Martin Jr. and Mike, both of Yuba City, and Victor of Eugene; and two sisters, Juana Gonzalez and Christina Perez, both of Yuba City.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Memorial Funeral Home, Eugene. Tuesday's funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Perez family in care of Lane Memorial Funeral Home.

Nellie Hansen

SPRINGFIELD - The funeral will be Thursday, Nov. 30, for Nellie Christine Hansen of Springfield, who died Nov. 26 of age-related causes. She was 92.

She was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Nuttwood, Ill., to Amos and Fannie Hoots Daniels. She married Virgil Christian Hansen on Aug. 9, 1960, in Thurston. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Irma Hanson of Redmond, Elaine Richards of Pendleton and Norma Jean Smith of Eugene; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home. Thursday's funeral will be at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.

Jedidiah Morse

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, for Jedidiah Nathan "Jed" Morse of Eugene, who died Nov. 22 in a car accident. He was 31.

He was born Dec. 26, 1974, in Portland to David and Marie Moore Morse. He and his wife, Patricia, were married July 20, 1996, in Dexter.

Morse was a senior in the engineering department at Oregon State University, and a maintenance technician at Emerald Forest Products.

Survivors include his wife; his parents; his grandparents, Leonard and Betty Morse, and Margaret Winsenberg; two children, Elisha and Brianna; and three siblings, Joe of Hawaii, and Hailey and Tess, both of Oregon.

Visitation will at 1 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Open Bible Church, 1116 Centennial Blvd. in Springfield. Thursday's service will be at 2 p.m., also at the church. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service, Springfield.

Michael Briles

A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 1, for Michael C. Briles of Elmira and Eugene, who died Nov. 22 at age 36. The family did not list a cause of death.

Briles was born Aug. 24, 1970, in Reno, Nev., to Roberta Akers Gamble.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Gerald Gamble; his life partner, Marissa Ford; two sisters, Peggy Boggs of Veneta and Alana Ekrem of Raymond, Wash.; three stepsisters, Vicki Kinney of Bradenton, Fla., Linda Manley of Eugene and Sherry Shaw of Veneta; and a stepbrother, Gary Gamble of Eugene.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at West Lawn Memorial Park, Eugene. Friday's funeral will be at 1 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church, Veneta.
