Josephine Hodgson

The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 15, for Josephine "Jo" Hodgson of Eugene, who died Nov. 11 of ovarian cancer ovarian cancer

 at age 75.

She was born May 28, 1931, in Eugene to Joe and Teresa Federico Greco. She married G. Edward Hodgson in Eugene in 1952. They divorced in 1973.

A graduate of Marylhurst College, she worked as a homemaker and claims adjustor. She later earned her certification in family and alcohol counseling and worked at Serenity Lane for 15 years.

, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, of cancer. He was 63.

He was born Aug. 25, 1943, in Prineville to Sherman and Gladys Larkin Jones. He married Velda McClellan on June 21, 1996, in Lakeview.

He grew up in Prineville and joined the U.S. Army after graduating from high school, reaching the rank of sergeant. After his honorable discharge honorable discharge

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Tracy Jo Hodges of Woodburn; three sons, Jay Dee Jones of Pasco, Wash., Rick Saunders of Oregon City and Randy McClellan of Prineville; two brothers, LeRoy of Townsend, Mont., and Donald of Redmond; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother, David, died previously.

A celebration of life will be held later. Arrangements by Whispering Pines Funeral Home, Prineville.
