He currently hosts a nightly interview program on CNN called Larry King Live, one of the longest running talk shows on American air. SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the Eugene Eagles Lodge for Larry D. King of Springfield, who died Nov. 5 of cancer at age 67. King was born Jan. 30, 1939, in Forest Grove, to Ralph and Alice Herring King. He worked for Boise Cascade Boise Cascade Holdings, LLC, which uses the trade name Boise, is an American pulp and paper company, ranked as the thirteenth largest forest products company in the world. for 14 years and Brand S Corp. for five years. He worked for the Springfield School District for 19 years, retiring in 1996 as director of the physical plant. Survivors include his life partner, Mary Fechtel; a daughter, Teri Kay Poindexter of Tigard; two sons, Tony of Bend and Roger of Springfield; two brothers, Donald of Dallas and Leon of Bend; five grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations.
