He married Donna Miller on Oct. 4, 1965, in Reno, Nev. Steward served in the Air Force and was a millworker and a long-haul truck driver. Survivors include his wife; six sons, Ronan and Billy II, Robert Eddy, John Henry, Bryan Irish and William Irish; three daughters, Eugenia Lee, Karen Steward and Jo Beth Steward; and numerous grandchildren and great-grand- children. Her husband died Nov. 18, 2001, and a son, Michael Gill George Michael Gill (10 December 1923 - 20 October 2005) was a television producer and television director responsible for creating 'ground-breaking' documentaries for the BBC. He was born in Winchester, Hampshire but was brought up in Canterbury. , also died previously.
