Hazel Maloney

 funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley,  for Hazel Mae Hazel Mae (b. April 7 1970, Philippines) is the lead anchor for the New England Sports Network's SportsDesk news program. Hazel grew up in Toronto and began her sports broadcasting career hosting a sports update show on campus at York University.  Maloney of Springfield, who died April 9 of age-related causes at age 78.

She was born March 23, 1928, in Quinn, S.D., to Loyd and Florence Gould Climer. She worked as an apartment manager for HUD Hud (hd), a pre-Qur'anic prophet of Islam. Hud unsuccessfully exhorted his South Arabian people, the Ad, to worship the One God.  and as a home- maker.

Survivors include four sons, Thomas, Mike, Scott and Tim; a brother, Kenneth Climer; three sisters, Pearl Climer, Helen Climer and Evelyn Monson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A daughter, Judy Davis Judy Davis (born 23 April, 1955) is an Academy Award-nominated and 3-time Emmy Award-winning Australian actress.

 Hecker

SPRINGFIELD - The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 17, at St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield for Celestine Hecker of Springfield, who died April 10 at age 96 of age-related causes.

She was born Dec. 5, 1909, in New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. , N.D., to George and Elizabeth Glasser Heidt. She married Paul Hecker on Nov. 20, 1928, in Dickinson, N.D. She was a homemaker and worked at Eugene Fruit Growers.

Survivors include a son, George; four daughters, Florence Hecker, Elizabeth Hecker, Tillie Murray and Caroline Haniuk; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Her husband, son Daniel Hecker and grandson Tony Haniuk died previously.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow the Mass at 2 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery Calvary Cemetery is a fairly common name for a burial ground and may refer to:

Richard Lantz

He was born April 12, 1937, in Portland to Percy and Gertrude Schauper Lantz. He married Wilma Ehrlich on May 4, 1958, in Albany. He served in the Army as a sergeant from 1955 to 1958. He had worked as a mortgage broker, as a team leader at Harry & David and as a tax preparer for Accurate Bookkeeping and Tax Service.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael; a daughter, Sheryl Peterson; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial with honor guard will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Twin Oaks Memorial Park in Albany.

Remembrances to Eugene Challengers Baseball or the Bethesda Lutheran Memorial Fund.

Parris Derscheid

VENETA - A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield for Parris Derscheid of Veneta, who died April 9 of small cell lung cancer Lung Cancer, Small Cell Definition

Small cell lung cancer is a disease in which the cells of the lung tissues grow uncontrollably and form tumors.
Description

Lung cancer is divided into two main types: small cell and non-small cell.

He was born June 25, 1943, in Bell, Calif., to Merle merle

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War Vietnam War, conflict in Southeast Asia, primarily fought in South Vietnam between government forces aided by the United States and guerrilla forces aided by North Vietnam.  and worked as a crane operator for Rosboro Lumber for 32 years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Micheal; a daughter, Jennifer Derscheid; his parents; three stepchildren, Sheila, Telesa and Derek; a brother, Kenneth; a sister, Cynthia Derscheid Prentice; and eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Willamette Valley Cancer Center.

Irving Wadsworth

SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at Northwood Christian Church in Springfield for Irving Edward Wadsworth of Springfield, who died April 10 at age 90 of causes related to Alzheimer's disease Alzheimer's disease (ăls`hī'mərz, ôls–), degenerative disease of nerve cells in the cerebral cortex that leads to atrophy of the brain and senile dementia. .

He was born June 27, 1915, in Brainerd, Minn., to Edward and Anna Huusman Wadsworth. He married Ardith Dinnell on Aug. 31, 1941, in Lead, S.D. He worked for 30 years as an acoustic engineer for H.E. Shugart Co. in Glendale, Calif.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David; three sisters, Mildred Gillespie, Dorothy Marshall and Eloise "Riz" Mullendort; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Kimberly Wadsworth, died previously.

Mark Tigert

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 13, at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in Grants Pass for Mark Owen Tigert of Eugene, who died April 7 of heart failure at age 36.

He was born April 14, 1969, in Pomona, Calif., to Ernest and Lynda Rae Patterson Tigert Jr. He worked locally as an electrical engineer at Monaco Coach and as a design engineer at Lanz Cabinets.

Survivors include his parents; a son, Samuel; a brother, Timothy; and a sister, Stacey Stewart.

Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Grants Pass.

Martha Elias

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 14, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Martha I. Elias of Eugene, who died April 10 of ovarian cancer ovarian cancer

She was born Aug. 19, 1953, in Cartagena, Colombia, to Alfredo and Maria Inez Carrizosa Elias. She married Hernando Convers on Dec. 15, 1973, in Bogota, Colombia. She was an entrepreneur in the computer business.

Survivors include her husband; her mother; two sons, Juan Convers and Jose Convers; and two sisters, Luz Elias and Emilia Elias.
