She was 83. She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in McGrath, Minn., to Charles and Gerda Anderson Bergstrom. She married Vernon Nyburg in Springfield on June 14, 1969. She was a housewife who enjoyed sewing and crafts. She was a longtime long·time adj. Carlson of Eugene, who died March 9 of age-related causes. He was 86. He was born April 3, 1919, in Sorsele, Sweden, to Kristina and Frans Carlson. He married Irene Melby in Edmonton, Alberta, on Nov. 27, 1949. Carlson attended public schools in Edmonton.
