OBITUARIES.Byline: The Register-Guard William Hewitt The funeral will be held today, Nov. 21, for William G. "Bill" Hewitt of Eugene, who died Nov. 16 of age-related causes. He was 92. Hewitt was born Dec. 7, 1912, in Denver to John and Flora Steinbach Hewitt. He married Margaret Tobey on Oct. 27, 1939, in Eugene. He lived in Briggsdale, Colo., and graduated from Briggsdale High School. He moved to Denver, where he attended Parks Business School. He served in the Army Air Corps. He had lived in Eugene for 69 years, and was the former owner and manager of Hewitt's Food Market at the corner of Oakway and Coburg roads.
