OBITUARIES.Byline: The Register-Guard Carolyn Kloehn SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be held Sept. 23 for Carolyn May Kloehn of Springfield, who died Sept. 16 of complications from cancer. She was 75. She was born July 26, 1930, in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. to Elmo and Bernice Norcross Beatty. She married Edward John Edward John is a prominent First Nations political leader in Canada. The son of Louis and Amelia John, he was born on July 8, 1949 in the Carrier village of Tache, along the north shore of Stuart Lake, about 60 km from Fort St. James, British Columbia. Kloehn on Dec. 8, 1948. He died Feb. 22, 1998. She lived in Oxnard, Calif., before moving to Vaughn in 1964. Kloehn had lived in Springfield since 1974.
