 service will be Jan. 12 for Clifford Thomas Upp Jr. of Leaburg, who died Jan. 5 of a heart attack. He was 60.

He was born June 11, 1944, in Lincoln, Neb., to Clifford Thomas Upp Sr. and Myrtle May Renner. He lived in Eugene before moving to Leaburg.

Upp worked as a driver for Georgia-Pacific for more than 30 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and guns. He was a member of the National Rifle Association National Rifle Association (NRA)

Governing organization for the sport of shooting with rifles and pistols. It was founded in Britain in 1860. The U.S. organization, formed in 1871, has a membership of some four million. Both the British and the U.S.

Survivors include a sister, Patricia Anne Young of Corvallis.

Wednesday's service will be at 1 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Andreason's Cremation cremation, disposal of a corpse by fire. It is an ancient and widespread practice, second only to burial. It has been found among the chiefdoms of the Pacific Northwest, among Northern Athapascan bands in Alaska, and among Canadian cultural groups.  & Burial Service The religious service performed at the interment of the dead; a funeral service.

Rosemary Rothgangel

Rosemary Rothgangel of Eugene died Jan. 7 of age-related causes. She was 81.

She was born Aug. 16, 1923, in Sayre, Okla., to Owen and Laura Mulry Doyle. She lived in Chicago until 1976 and Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  until 1998, when she moved to Eugene.

Survivors include a son, James DeCesari of Delray Beach Delray Beach, resort city (1990 pop. 47,181), Palm Beach co., SE Fla., on the Atlantic coast; settled 1895, inc. 1911. Mostly residential, Delray Beach is also the trade center for a citrus-fruit and vegetable-growing region. , Fla.; a daughter, Nancy McNaught of Eugene; a brother, Paul Doyle

A son, Carl, and three husbands, James DeCesari, Russell Oplinger and Rudy Rothgangel, died previously.

No service is planned. Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Gill

JUNCTION CITY - A graveside service will be held Jan. 15 for Donald "Donny" Eugene Gill of Junction City, who died Jan. 8 of a lung disorder. He was 68.

He was born April 27, 1936, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Clyde and Eleanor Abbott Gill. He grew up and graduated from high school in Lynnwood, Calif. He moved to Junction City in 1980.

He enjoyed reading and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his stepfather, Dale Newlan of Eugene; two brothers, Dick of Cheshire and Darrell of Wilsonville; and three sisters, Gillie Bennett and Karen Lemieux, both of Junction City, and Clydene Hoffman of Mesa, Ariz.

Saturday's service will be at 1 p.m. at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
