Ruth Fredericksen

. She was 83.

She was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Vancouver, Wash., to Curtis and Ethyl ethyl (ĕth`əl), CH3CH2, organic free radical or alkyl group derived from ethane by removing one hydrogen atom.  Mae Hattersly Enright. She married Nels Fredericksen in Tacoma on July 6, 1939. He died in 1991.

She was a homemaker and a caregiver at several adult foster homes. She worked with preschool children in 1994-95 as part of the Christian Appellation ap·pel·la·tion

 services have been held. Saturday's service will be at 3 p.m. at Scottsburg Community Church in Scottsburg. Dunes Memorial Chapel of Reedsport is in charge of arrangements.

LOWELL - A memorial service will be held Dec. 11 for James "Dean" Lawson of Lowell, who died Dec. 1 of unknown causes. He was 66.

He was born March 27, 1938, in Albany to Joseph and Alice Billings Lawson. He attended grade school at Wyatt School in Harrisburg.

Lawson married Roxanne L. Tripp in Carson City Carson City, city (1990 pop. 40,443), state capital, W Nev., in the Eagle valley; inc. 1875. The city is a trade center for a mining and agricultural area. Lovers' holiday celebrated on February 14, the feast day of St. Valentine, one of two 3rd-century Roman martyrs of the same name. St.
. She died Feb. 15, 2003.

Lawson worked as a timber faller all over Oregon for many years. He previously served in the Navy.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing on his tractor, watching Westerns, going for drives in the woods and spending time "Spending Time" is the first single released by Christian artist Stellar Kart.

The lyrics describe the band members desire to spend "more time with God". "Sometimes it’s a real struggle to spend time with God.

, Sara Baganoff of Woodburn and Brenda Lawson of Lowell; seven siblings; and nine grandchildren.

Saturday's service will be at 1 p.m. at East Valley Church, 72 E. Second St. in Lowell. Poole-Larsen Funeral Home of Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Imagene Rhodes

A graveside service will be held Dec. 7 for Imagene "Jean" Elizabeth Rhodes of Eugene, who died Dec. 4 of age-related causes. She was 80.

She was born Feb. 7, 1924, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to Cora Mae Duncan. She married William Rhodes William Rhodes may refer to:
  1. William Barnes Rhodes (1772 - 1826), an English dramatist.
  2. William Barnard Rhodes (1807? - 1878) a New Zealand businessman and politician
  3. William R. Rhodes, Senior Vice Chairman of Citigroup Inc.
 in Visalia, Calif., on July 18, 1942. He died Sept. 10, 1981.

Rhodes was a homemaker who lived in Eugene for 57 years.

Survivors include a son, Bill of Veneta; three daughters, Charlene Hixson and Sandra Abshare, both of Eugene, and Connie Abshare of Winston; and nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Tuesday's service will be at 1 p.m. at Springfield Memorial Gardens.

Martha Brauner

The memorial service will be Dec. 10 for Martha M. Brauner of Corvallis, formerly of Eugene, who died Dec. 1 of age-related causes.

She was 96.

She was born July 22, 1908, in Corvallis to Adolph and Mary Behnemann. She married Edwin H. Brauner on Feb. 26, 1937. He died in 1970.

She lived in Eugene from 1935 to 1956, and again from 1963 to 1992. She lived in Portland from 1956 to 1963 and in Corvallis since 1992.

Brauner was a homemaker who volunteered at church and with service groups, especially Vina Moses in Corvallis and the Eugene Mission in Eugene. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Corvallis, Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene and St. James Lutheran Church in Portland.

Survivors include five sons, Kenneth and Donald, both of Eugene, Raymond of Orting, Wash., Harold "Hal" of Corvallis and Edwin of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 5 p.m. at McHenry Funeral Home in Corvallis.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bethesda Lutheran Cemetery in Eugene.

Friday's service will be at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Corvallis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Foundation, care of McHenry Funeral Home.
