 Florence for William Rush William Rush (1756 - 1833) was a U.S. neoclassical sculptor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is considered the first major American sculptor.

He was trained in the carving of ships' heads in wood.
 Enochs of Florence, who died Sept. 22 of heart failure at age 76.

He was born May 2, 1931, in Fort Wayne Fort Wayne, city (1990 pop. 173,072), seat of Allen co., NE Ind., where the St. Joseph and St. Marys rivers join to form the Maumee River; inc. 1840. It is the second largest city in the state, a major railroad and shipping point, a wholesale and distribution hub, , Ind., to Hazel Tucker Kroehl and Virgil Enochs. He married Dorrienne Weston on July 29, 1953, in Reno, Nev.

Enochs served in the Marines and the Navy. He received a bachelor's degree in business in 1956. He worked in sales, securities and estate planning Estate Planning

It is a processing and shipping center for a heavily irrigated agricultural region (vegetables, grain, cotton, , Calif., and Julie Eshpeter of Visalia, Calif.; a son, Steven of San Antonio San Antonio (săn ăntō`nēō, əntōn`), city (1990 pop. 935,933), seat of Bexar co., S central Tex., at the source of the San Antonio River; inc. 1837. ; a brother, Dale of Bloomington, Ind.; a sister, Pamela Boyer, also of Fort Wayne; five grand- children and two great-grandchildren.

George Heffentrager

A celebration of life for George Heffentrager of Eugene and his wife, Dorothy Heffentrager, will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. George Heffentrager died Aug. 30 of age-related causes at age 83. His wife died Aug. 7, 2007.

He was born Aug. 10, 1924, in Watertown, N.Y., to George and Sarah Booth Heffentrager. He married Dorothy Heffentrager on Jan. 10, 1948, in Reno, Nev.

DRAIN - The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Assembly of God Church in Drain for Bobby Ray Latham of Drain, who died Sept. 26 of complications of paralysis at age 60. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. He was born Dec. 23, 1946, in McKinney, Texas McKinney is a city in Collin County, Texas (USA), the county seat and second in population to Plano. As of the 2006, the North Central Texas Council of Governments estimated the city population to be 102,853. , to Glyn and Edith Vickery Latham. He married Alice Aanrud in the late 1960s and they divorced. He married Darcy Ellingson in the mid-1970s and they later divorced.

Latham served in the Army in Korea. He held an associate's degree in graphic design from Lane Community College. He worked in the lumber industry for many years, employed by Rosboro Lumber in Springfield, Bohemia Lumber in Drain and Starfire Lumber in Cottage Grove, and worked in production for the Kwikee Corporation in Cottage Grove.

Survivors include his fiancee, Susan Anderson of Drain; his parents, of Cottage Grove; three daughters, Amelia Jensen of Estacada, Desirae Latham of Canby and Kitty Latham of San Diego; a brother, Michael of Cottage Grove; and a sister, Linda Perkins of Christmas Valley.

"Mark" Pickett

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Masonic Lodge 11 in Eugene for John "Mark" Pickett of Eugene. He died Sept. 26 of age-related causes at age 90.

He was born July 30, 1917, to Ralph and Mary Isaacson Pickett. He married Helen Huff in Banning, Calif.

Pickett completed high school and held an associate's degree. He served in the Navy in World War II.

He owned and operated an independent grocery store for 38 years.

Survivors include two sons, John of Eugene and Mick of Allegany; a brother, Mike of Banning, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His wife died May 26, 2001.

Jonathan Unterseher

Jonathan David Unterseher of Forest Grove, formerly of Harrisburg, died Sept. 21 of age-related causes at age 99.

He was born July 20, 1908, in Bowden, N.D., to John and Katherine Miller Unterseher. He married Clara Diebert on Dec. 26, 1935, in Wadena, Minn., and she died in 1961. He married Leona Bixby in 1962, and she died in 1995.

He worked for many years as a custodian at Harrisburg Elementary School until his retirement in 1973.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Teed of Alberta, Joan Kemmerer of Dallas and Bonnie McGuire of Waimanalo, Hawaii; three sons, John Unterseher of Gresham, Dean Bixby of Orlando, Calif., and Krim Unterseher of Forest Grove; a brother, Elmer of Forest Grove; three sisters, Olga Aaby of Lodi Lodi, city, Italy
Lodi (lô`dē), city (1991 pop. 42,250), Lombardy, N Italy, on the Adda River, near Milan. It is an important dairy and light industrial center.
, Calif., and Florence Nielsen and Lillian Nielsen, both of Lincoln, Neb.; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A son, Terry Bixby, died previously.

A private service was held, with burial in Thomas Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg. Arrangements by Fuiten, Rose, & Hoyt Funeral Home in Forest Grove. Remembrances to the Alzheimer's Association Columbia-Willamette Chapter.

Allen Woolley

NOTI - A celebration of life will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at Veneta Community Center for Allen Ray Woolley of Noti. He died Sept. 26 of cancer at age 61.

He was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Eugene to Oliver and Marion Hollis Woolley.

Woolley graduated from Elmira High School

Elmira High School is a 4A public high school of about 500 students in Elmira, Oregon located approximately 15 miles from Eugene.
 in 1964. He served in the Army as a tank commander and worked for Peterson Pacific Corporation as a fabricator.

Survivors include a daughter, Alisha Woolley of Noti; a son, Joseph of Noti; a brother, Norman of Eugene; and two sisters, Louise Guerrero of Veneta and Anne Sheldon of Eugene. A daughter, Elizabeth Woolley, died previously.

Arrangements by Alpha Cremation cremation, disposal of a corpse by fire. It is an ancient and widespread practice, second only to burial.
