Kristine Alvord

A private celebration of life will be held for Kristine "Kri5s" Alvord of Kapaa, Hawaii, formerly of Eugene. She died Sept. 3 of cancer at age 45.

Alvord was born June 22, 1962, in Eugene to John and Beverley Taylor Alvord.

She was an accountant.

Survivors include her parents, both of Eugene; a sister, Kari Alvord of Veneta; and two brothers, Kevin Alvord of Springfield and Kelly Alvord of Eugene.

Inurnment will be private. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary in Koloa, Hawaii

"Pete" Fuller

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Eugene Masonic Lodge for Herbert R. "Pete" Fuller of Eugene. He died Sept. 20 of a stroke at age 75.

He was born Dec. 16, 1931, in Eugene to Manley and Jessie Neu Fuller. He married Alva "Jeannie" Humphreys on June 19, 1954, in Lusby, Md.

Fuller graduated from Cottage Grove High School Cottage Grove High School is a public high school located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It has a newer school building, opened in 2003 to replace the old high school building that was built in 1939 and held its first classes in 1940.  in 1949 and served in the Navy from 1950 to 1954.

He retired from the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities.  printing department after 34 years.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Gail Queener of Rosburg, Wash., Carla Petitti of Eugene and Karen Smith Karen Smith (born January 30, 1979 in Toowoomba, Queensland) is a former field hockey midfield player from Australia, who earned a total number of 257 international caps for the Women's National Team, in which she scored 45 goals.  of Monroe; a brother, Ramon of Eugene; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.

Oral Graville

JUNCTION CITY Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley,  - The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City for Oral James Graville of Junction City. He died Sept. 20 of age-related causes at age 85. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born June 9, 1922, in Junction City to Arthur and Ethel Knights Graville. He married Lucille Jordan on July 5, 1943, and they later divorced.

Graville graduated from Junction City High School in 1941. He served in the Navy in World War II from 1943 to 1945 on a yard mine sweeper in the South Pacific. He logged for A. Graville and Son from 1945 to 1953, then owned and operated a cattle ranch in Cheshire. He was a reserve deputy sheriff for Lane County and a truck driver.

Survivors include his domestic partner of 15 years, Alice Burks; two sons, Glen of Morton, Wash., and Dwayne of Junction City; a daughter, Connie Workman of Junction City; a sister, Elvina Kester of Klamath Falls Klamath Falls, city (1990 pop. 17,737), seat of Klamath co., SW Oreg., at the southern tip of Upper Klamath Lake; inc. 1905. It is the processing and distribution center of a lumber, livestock, and farm area. ; a brother, Everett of Junction City; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, Gregory, died previously.

Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City.

Rabah Hadjouti

Rabah Hadjouti of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Eugene, died Sept. 13 of a stroke at age 42. No service is planned.

He was born March 17, 1965, in Dijon, France, to Said and Laldja Zouaoui Hadjouti. He married Lynda Rubenstein on April 25, 1990, in Eugene.

Hadjouti was a preschool teacher A Preschool Teacher is a type of early childhood educator who instructs children from infancy to age 5, which stands as the youngest stretch of early childhood education. Early Childhood Education teachers need to span the continum of children from birth to age 8.  at the Little French School in Eugene from 1991 to 1996 and worked as a glassblower in Eugene from 1996 to 2005.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Kenya Hadjouti of Chandler; six brothers, Ahmed Hadjouti and Kader Hadjouti, both of Dijon, France, Mohamed Hadjouti of Is-sur-tille, France, Nordine Hadjouti and Djamel Adjouti, both of Selongey, France, and Boualem Adjouti of Paris; and a sister, Fatima Amari of Bellefond, France.

Barbara Lais

 for Barbara Elizabeth Lais of Lebanon, formerly of Junction City. She died Sept. 20 of age-related causes at age 91. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Zion Mennonite Cemetery in Hubbard.

She was born Dec. 6, 1915, in Shelbyville, Ill., to Ezra and Ida Eash Kropf. She married John Lais on Aug. 21, 1938, in Junction City.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Idella Mukasa of Santa Ana Santa Ana, city, El Salvador

Elizabeth Patro

REEDSPORT - A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today, Sept. 22, at Dunes Memorial Chapel in Reedsport for Elizabeth Ann Patro of Reedsport, who died Sept. 18 at age 50. The family chose not to list the cause of death.

She was born July 15, 1957, in Walnut Creek Walnut Creek, residential city (1990 pop. 60,569), Contra Costa co., W Calif., in the San Francisco Bay area; inc. 1914. It is the trade and shipping center of an extensive agricultural area where walnuts are among the major product. , Calif., to Melvin and Marion Sultan Cowart.

Franke Professorship in English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago.  of Washington and Eric Chandler of Alaska; two daughters, Danielle Patro-Lechuga and Shawna Patro, both of Oregon; two brothers, Richard Cowart and Eric Cowart, both of California; a sister, Linea Cowart Pierce of California; and 10 grandchildren.

Beverly Putney

SPRINGFIELD - The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield for Beverly Jane Putney of Springfield. She died Sept. 18 of heart failure at age 73. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.

She was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Velva, N.D., to Michael and Emma Jensen Byrnes. She married Darrell Putney on May 14, 1951, in Vancouver, Wash.

She was a homemaker and worked as a waitress.

Sawat Wolfe

A reception will be at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the Fireside Room at Laurelwood Golf Course for Sawat Wolfe of Eugene. She died Sept. 17 of cancer at age 63.

She was born Dec. 6, 1943, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Chiang Ha and Intra Karnjanatrakul. She married Jerry Wolfe on Sept. 10, 1966, in Corvallis.

She held a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Oregon State University Oregon State University, at Corvallis; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1858 as Corvallis College, opened 1865. In 1868 it was designated Oregon's land-grant agricultural college and was taken over completely by the state in 1885.  and was computer manager for Lane County Public Works for 20 years. She was then president of Acacia International, a telecommunications company based in Eugene.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Patrick of Eugene; a daughter, Katrina Wolfe of New York City New York City: see New York, city.
