Jerald Anderson

CHESHIRE - A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Eagles Lodge 275 in Eugene for Jerald W. "Jerry" Anderson of Cheshire. He died Aug. 20 of congestive heart failure congestive heart failure, inability of the heart to expel sufficient blood to keep pace with the metabolic demands of the body. In the healthy individual the heart can tolerate large increases of workload for a considerable length of time.  at age 77. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today, Aug. 23, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.

He was born July 24, 1930, in Eugene to Hiram and Pearl Cyr Anderson.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Scott of Portland, Brad of Christmas Valley, Ryan of Veneta and William of Eugene; three daughters, Jill Esa of Eugene, Shawn Corbin of Springfield and Patti Anderson of Veneta; a sister, Daphne Climer of Springfield; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private burial will be in Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Arrangements by England's Eugene Memorial Chapel.

Remembrances to the Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. He was born June 12, 1934, in Tillamook to Clarence and Naomi Robertson Blain.

Blain served in the Air Force during the Korean War Korean War, conflict between Communist and non-Communist forces in Korea from June 25, 1950, to July 27, 1953. At the end of World War II, Korea was divided at the 38th parallel into Soviet (North Korean) and U.S. (South Korean) zones of occupation. . He worked in the wood products industry.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Blain; two sons, Chris of Portland and Samm of Eugene; a brother, Raymond of Lebanon; and a sister, Jane Gourley of Foster; and two half-brothers, Bruce and Brad. A son, Norman Charles Blain, died in 1974.

Elsie Edmonds

An open house will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at 1774 Carmel Ave., Eugene, for Elsie For Elsie was a reworking of Beethoven's Fur Elise by The Residents. It had a very limited release on colored vinyl, while a compact disc version was handed out at a one-off show.  Edmonds of Eugene, who died Aug. 18 of age-related causes. She was 82.

She was born March 9, 1925, in Grandview, Wash., to Dwight and Goldie Crawford Foskett. She married Jack Edmonds on Nov. 9, 1946, in Seattle. He died previously.

She graduated from high school in Buckley, Wash. She worked as a seamstress, making draperies out of her home.

Survivors include a son, Gary of Mukilteo, Wash.; and a daughter, Debbie Richter of Hillsboro.

Robert Homsley

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at River Forks Park in Roseburg for Robert C. Homsley of Roseburg, formerly of Eugene, who died Aug. 15 of cancer. He was 56.

He was born June 12, 1951, in Fortuna, Calif., to Rufus and Claudette Homsley.

Homsley served in the National Guard in California. He worked as a security guard for Absolute Security in Eugene, for Clint Newell Motors, delivered newspapers for Roseburg News Review and worked at Round Table Pizza Round Table Pizza is a large chain of pizza parlours in the western United States.

Round Table Pizza's official mascots are, as of 2006, Matt and Marcus, who both appear on the company's television commercials.

Survivors include his wife, Julianna Jurado; three daughters, Erica of Eugene, Misty of Springfield and Cassandra of Arizona; two sons, Bobby and Randy, both of California; two brothers, Ray of Roseburg and Rick of California; and seven grandchildren. His first wife, Sally, died previously.

Linwood Ordway Jr.

 of Latter-day Saints, 1155 President St., Eugene, for Linwood Clark "Lin" Ordway Jr. of Eugene, who died Aug. 20 of cancer. He was 77.

He was born Sept. 21, 1929, Haverhill, Mass., to Linwood and Mildred Arnold Ordway. He married Trula Sanford on April 14, 1956, in Las Vegas. She died Oct. 19, 2005.

Ordway served in the Army Air Corps and served in the Korean War. He worked in furniture sales and in the aircraft industry as a fabricator, and was a cabinetmaker.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and David of Eugene; two sisters, Marion Hutton of New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E).  and Elizabeth Gilmore of Florida; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be at noon Friday at the church. Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.

Alma Plaster

COTTAGE GROVE - The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Living Faith Christian Assembly in Cottage Grove for Alma Plaster of Cottage Grove, who died Aug. 20 of cancer. She was 65. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.

She was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Murphy, N.C., to Leonard and Veanna Allen Clark. She married Kim Plaster in 1966 in Junction City.

She graduated from Cottage Grove High School Cottage Grove High School is a public high school located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It has a newer school building, opened in 2003 to replace the old high school building that was built in 1939 and held its first classes in 1940.  and worked as a transcriptionist at Cottage Grove Hospital for 15 years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mark and Steve; her mother, now of Creswell; nine brothers, JR Clark and Billy Clark, both of Cottage Grove, Leon Clark and Von Clark, both of Eugene, Arnold Clark of Billings, Mont., Don Clark of Saginaw, Larry Clark of Creswell, Frank Clark of Landon and Gary Clark of Bend; a sister, Stella Eller of Cottage Grove; and two grandchildren.

Private burial will be at Sears Cemetery in Cottage Grove.

Frances Robertson

SWEET HOME - The graveside funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home for Frances Ellen Robertson of Sweet Home who died Aug. 21 of age-related causes. She was 91.

She was born Jan. 28, 1916, in Jefferson, Ore., to Byron and Nellie Scheiler Hutchins. She married Earl Robertson on July 30, 1937, in Stevens, Wash. He died Feb. 18, 2005.

Survivors include a son, Leroy Robertson of Sweet Home, a daughter, Lois Kerns of Eugene, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A sister, Marie Robertson, and two brothers, Raymond and Paul Robertson, died previously.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.

Jacob Robinson

LORANE - A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Jacob McCollick Robinson of Lorane, who died July 24 of complications of diabetes. He was 25. A recitation rec·i·ta·tion

Survivors include his mother, now of Lorane; a grandmother, Stella Schiable of N.J.; two brothers, his twin, August, of Cottage Grove and Luke of Eugene; and two sisters, Beth Robinson of Cottage Grove and Carey Robinson of Lorane.
