She was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. Simplot in Caldwell, Idaho Caldwell is a city in and the county seat of Canyon County, Idaho, United States.GR6 The population was 25,967 at the 2000 census. Caldwell is the home of the College of Idaho. It is considered part of the Boise metropolitan area. . She retired after working 30 years for Eugene Fruit Growers/ Agripac. Elsie Buck A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at Fairfield Nazarene Church in Eugene for Elsie For Elsie was a reworking of Beethoven's Fur Elise by The Residents. It had a very limited release on colored vinyl, while a compact disc version was handed out at a one-off show. Fay Buck of Roseburg, formerly of Eugene, who died Sept. 8 of age-related causes. She was 96. She was born July 29, 1910, in Marion to Alonzo and Jenny Smith Webb. She married Evin Buck in 1930 in Philomath. He died in 1991. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Fisher of Roseburg and Lorena Ray of Yoncalla; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Vicki Aydelott, and a son, Elvin, died previously. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Taylor's Family Chapel in Winston. Dennis Chase SPRINGFIELD - Dennis Kent "D.K." Chase of Springfield died Sept. 10 at age 66. The family chose not to list the cause of death. No service is plan- ned. He was born June 9, 1940, in Eugene to Vincent and Viola Henderson Chase Jr. He married Nancy Hlebechuk on April 12, 1973, in Reno, Nev. They later divorced. Chase served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad Union Pacific Railroad, transportation company chartered (1862) by Congress to build part of the nation's first transcontinental railroad line. Under terms of the Pacific Railroads Act, the Union Pacific was authorized to build a line westward from Omaha, Nebr. for 42 years, retiring in 2000. Survivors include his mother, Viola Chase of Eugene; a son, Marcus of Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley, ; and two sisters, Diane Hisey of Eugene and Kathlee Heath of Portland. Oak Hill began in 1848 as part of the rural cemetery movement, directly inspired by the success of Mount Auburn Cemetery, when William Wilson in Eugene for Billy R. Dale of Alva- dore, who died Sept. 10 of heart disease at age 80. He was born Jan. 10, 1926, in DeQueen, Ark., to Raymond and Rosa Daniels Dale. He married Elizabeth Thompson Elizabeth Thompson, Lady Butler (3 November 1846–2 October 1933) was a British painter. She was married to Lieutenant General Sir William Butler. Born at Villa Claremont in Lausanne, Switzerland, she specialized in painting scenes from British military campaigns and on June 30, 1947, in Eugene. Dale served in the Navy in World War II. He worked as an edgerman at Starr Lumber Co. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Elizabeth Lyn Dick of Albany; and a son, Alan of Alvadore. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
