She died Feb. 4, 2004. He worked at Wyatt's Tire Company in Eugene for 48 years. Survivors include a daughter, Sheri Monroe of Eugene; two sisters, Irene Greer of St. Augustine, Fla., and Frances Mehlert of Grinnell, Iowa Grinnell is a city in Poweshiek County, Iowa, United States. The population was 9,105 at the 2000 census. Grinnell was named after Josiah Bushnell Grinnell and is the home of Grinnell College. History Grinnell was founded in 1854 by Josiah B. Survivors include two sons, Gerald of Hermiston and Richard of Springfield; a daughter, Melva Smith of Eugene; a brother, Ellis of Kennewick, Wash.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
