The area beside a grave. service will be held Sept. 7 for Edward "Ed" Hodge of Cheshire, who died Sept. 3 of complications from a stroke. He was 75. Hodge was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Brighton, Mich., to Louis and Charlett Ketchum Hodge. He married Johnie Lue Morris in Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley, on Dec. 18, 1976. Hodge was a member of the Army 82nd Airborne. He was a carpenter and a union member of Local 1273. He moved to the Junction City area in 1972. Hodge enjoyed restoring military Jeeps and was a member of the Military Vehicle Collectors Club of Oregon. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Karen Williams of Mexico, Joline Lannon of Sherman Oaks, Calif., and Teresa Monaghan of Fallbrook, Calif.; seven sons, Steven Williams of Junction City, David Williams David Williams is the name of: Musicians

Eunice Jayne A memorial service will be held Sept. 7 for Eunice Jayne of Eugene, who died Sept. 3 of age-related causes. She was 89. Jayne was born Oct. 24, 1915, in Enterprise, Wis., to Charles and Alice Marlow Ballard. She married Clarence Jayne in Grand Junction Grand Junction, city (1990 pop. 29,034), seat of Mesa co., W Colo., at the junction of the Gunnison and Colorado rivers; inc. 1891. The shipping and processing center of a large ranch and irrigated farm region, it also serves the area's uranium, oil shale, gas, and , Colo., on March 22, 1935. He died July 3, 1992. She graduated from high school in Grand Junction. Jayne lived in Eugene since 1945. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Runion of Crooked River Ranch; two sons, Arden of Eugene and Truman of Tustin, Calif.; five grandchildren and nine great-grand- children. He was 59. Courtright was born Nov. 3, 1945, in Portland to Harry and Anne SmegelskiCourtright. He married Camille Stole in Fairbanks, Alaska, on July 31, 1980. Courtright lived in Portland, Grants Pass, New Mexico, Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska, before moving to Eugene 18 years ago. Courtright served in the Army from 1965 to 1969 as an electrical technician. He later worked as an electrical technician setting up remote stations. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, hiking and exploring. He received the Valor valor a rodenticide no longer marketed because of toxicity in horses causing dehydration, abdominal pain, hindlimb weakness, inappetence, fishy smell in urine. Called also N-3-pyridyl methyl N1-p-nitrophenyl urea. Award while working for the Bureau of Land Management. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Cally of Albany and Christine Gentile of Eugene; two brothers, Geoffrey of Portland and Charles of Wasilla, Alaska; and six sisters, Karen Bury of Hawaii, Anne Pennington of The Dalles dalles pl.n.
