OBITUARIES.Byline: The Register-Guard Melburn Egan A memorial service will be held Sept. 1 for Melburn Wanda Egan of Eugene, who died Aug. 25 of age-related causes. She was 86. She was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Yacolt, Wash., to Joseph and Angie Green Jay. She married Elmer James Egan in Vancouver, Wash., on Sept. 24, 1938. He died in October 2000. She lived in Noti from age 4 until moving to Eugene in 1984. Egan graduated from Elmira High School
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Finneman of Eugene; a son, Larry of Eugene; and four grandchildren and seven great-grand- children. Acute or chronic malfunction of the kidneys resulting from any of a number of causes, including infection, trauma, toxins, hemodynamic abnormalities, and autoimmune disease, and often resulting in systemic symptoms, especially edema, . He was 75. He was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Watsonville, Calif., to Frank and Annabelle Carter Hibbs. He married Shirley Mahany in Las Vegas on July 3, 1977. He previously was married to Dorothy Winningham. They later divorced. Hibbs graduated from Jacksonville High School Jacksonville High School is a free secondary public school located in Jacksonville, Arkansas for students in grades nine through twelve. Jacksonville is administered by the Pulaski County Special School District. in 1949. He lived in Santa Cruz, Calif., Ashland, Rusch and Roseburg before moving to Eugene 6 1/2 years ago. He served as a rock crusher and road builder in Pusan, Korea, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War Korean War, conflict between Communist and non-Communist forces in Korea from June 25, 1950, to July 27, 1953. At the end of World War II, Korea was divided at the 38th parallel into Soviet (North Korean) and U.S. (South Korean) zones of occupation. . Hibbs worked as a school bus driver, dairy farmer, cattle buyer and heavy-construction worker. He later served as president and chief executive officer of Teeco Corp. He retired as manager of special projects for Granite Rock of Watsonville, Calif. Hibbs invented the transloader truck and held 22 patents. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, water skiing, camping and traveling. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Elks and Ducks Unlimited. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carla Moeller of Keizer; a stepdaughter step·daugh·ter n. She was 1 month old. She was born June 28, 2005, to Danielle Wrona-Anderson and Shawn Remier.
