DRAIN - A celebration of life will be held April 20 for Marion "Jeane" Cunningham of Drain, who died April 15 of age-related causes. She was 84.

She was born May 31, 1920, in Outlook, Mont., to Harry and Mabel Lee Johnson Lee Johnson is the name of:
  • Lee Johnson (American football player) (born in 27 November 1961 in Conroe, Texas), a former American football player
  • Lee Johnson (footballer) (born 7 June 1981 in Newmarket), an English professional footballer
. She married Bruce Cunningham in Portland on Nov. 23, 1939. He died Sept. 18, 1999.

Cunningham was a homemaker and ranch wife. She enjoyed sending ministry prayer warrior cards and spending time "Spending Time" is the first single released by Christian artist Stellar Kart.

The lyrics describe the band members desire to spend "more time with God". "Sometimes it’s a real struggle to spend time with God.

Survivors include a son, Michael of Drain; a daughter, Patricia Hescock of Drain; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and Tuesday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove. Wednesday's service will be at 11:30 a.m. at Drain Church of Christ.

He was born July 11, 1945, in Grants Pass to Donald and Peggy Hogue Brooks.

Survivors include his father; a brother, Donald of Reedsport; and two sisters, Eloise Wagoner of North Bend and Tamala Schamp of Sweet Home.

Thursday's service will be at 1 p.m. at Myrtle Grove Crest Memorial Park in Coquille. Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Francesca Clifford

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held April 20 for Francesca "Cheska" Clifford of Portland, formerly of Eugene, who died April 16 of breast cancer. She was 45.

She was born May 6, 1959, in London, England, to Gabriel "Bon" and Philomena "Phil" O'Meara Bishop. She married Gordon Clifford in Eugene on Oct. 16, 1982.

She lived in London, Eugene and Portland.

She graduated from Sheldon High School Sheldon High School may refer to:

She received degrees in English and social service from the University of Portland The University of Portland (UP) is a private Catholic university located in Portland, Oregon. It is specifically affiliated with the Congregation of Holy Cross and is the sister school of the University of Notre Dame. Founded in 1901, UP has a student body of about 3,200 students. .

Clifford worked in public affairs at Encore Publishing. She also worked at the University of Portland, the Oregon State System of Higher Education, Pacific University and the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross. .

She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Portland and was proud of her Irish heritage.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kennedy and Harrison, both of Portland; two daughters, Alexandra Clifford and Madison Clifford, both of Portland; three brothers, Finbarr Bishop of Seattle, Eamon Bishop of Keizer and Malachy Bishop of Lexington, Ky.; and four sisters, Ursula Bishop of San Luis Obispo San Luis Obispo (săn l`ĭs ōbĭs`pō), city (1990 pop. 41,958), seat of San Luis Obispo co., S Calif., near San Luis Obispo Bay; inc. 1856. , Calif., Imelda Dulcich of Newcastle, Wash., Perpetua Bishop of San Francisco and Aine McElligott of Eugene.

A rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Clare Catholic Church in Portland. Wednesday's Mass will be at 11 a.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church. Abbey Funeral Home in Portland is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clare School or the Clifford Children's Fund at any Key Bank in Oregon.
