OBITUARIES : MARTHA ANNA LOEN.Visitation for Martha Anna Loen will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Mumaw Funeral Home, 44663 Date Ave., Lancaster. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's of the Valley Lutheran Church, 1737 E. Ave. R, Palmdale. Loen was born March 10, 1910 in Steele, N.D. and died Monday at age 88 in Carmichael. Loen moved to Palmdale in 1946 and lived in Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, for more than 50 years. Barbara Howard Visitation for Barbara Howard will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday with services to follow at 1 p.m. at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 38141 6th St. E., Palmdale. Howard was born March 13, 1934 in East Liverpool, Ohio East Liverpool is a city in Columbiana County, Ohio, United States. The population was 13,089 at the 2000 census. It is located along the Ohio River and borders the states of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. , and died Monday in Santa Monica. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, Palmdale. Survivors include her mother, Eva Shepherd; children, Carl Howard Jr., Darlene Jacobs, and Carla Hines; stepchildren, Carl Marshell Howard and Robert Allen Howard; a brother, Carl Dunmire; and eight grandchildren. |
