OBITUARIES : EDWIN M ABEL.Memorial services for Edwin M. Abel will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Halley-Olsen Funeral Chapel, 3150 E. Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale. Abel, who died July 8 at age 81, had worked as an aircraft inspector with Lockheed. Survivors include his wife, Edith Abel; daughters, Valerie Hopkins Hopkins, city (1990 pop. 16,534), Hennepin co., SE Minn., a suburb of Minneapolis; inc. as West Minneapolis 1893, name changed 1928. The city manufactures machinery, computer and electronic parts, steel products, air pollution equipment, ophthalmic lenses, tools, , Anna Abel and Kathy Shively; seven grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. McKean will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Halley-Olsen Funeral Chapel, 44802 Date Ave., Lancaster. McKean was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Hamberg, Iowa, and died Wednesday at age 76. He worked asa meat cutter A Retail Meat Cutter prepares primal cuts into a variety of smaller cuts intended for sale in a retail environment. The duties of a Meat Cutter are related to that of a Butcher. for 30 years. Survivors include a son, Mike McKean; daughters, Patricia Helton and Karen Campbell; and a sister, Lucille Stanley Stanley, town (1991 pop. 1,557), capital of the Falkland Islands, S Atlantic Ocean, on East Falkland island.
