OBITUARIES : ALMA ADELINE BOYD.

Private services will be held for Alma Adeline Boyd, a homemaker from Palmdale. She died Tuesday in Lancaster at age 94.

Boyd was born May 11, 1903, in Buffalo, N.D., and had lived in the Antelope Valley for two years.

Survivors include her children, Roger Boyd and Marian Smith; her brother, Pete Butke; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale is in charge of arrangements.

David Gepner

Services were Wednesday for David Gepner, 32, who died Sunday in Lancaster. Burial followed at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Los Angeles. Halley-Olsen Funeral Chapel, Lancaster, was in charge of arrangements.

Gepner was born Feb. 19, 1965, in Wilmington.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Diana and Glenn Fox of Moorpark; sister, Karin Fox of Moorpark; stepgrandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Fox of Agoura Hills; aunts, Carol Fox of Los Angeles, Catherine Fox Anderson of Auburn, and Donna Flowers; and uncles, James Fox and Paul Flowers.

Maritza Fanny Duran

Visitation for Maritza Fanny Duran, of Palmdale, will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today, followed by a rosary at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 38141 6th St. E., Palmdale. Burial will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 2200 E. Ave. S, Palmdale.

Duran, a cashier, died Monday in Mission Hills at age 39.

Born Sept. 3, 1958, in Quito, Ecuador, Duran had lived in the Antelope Valley for nine years.

Survivors include her husband, John Duran; children, Mark, Steve and Gloria Duran; father, Jugo Alarcon; brothers, Pablo, Julio, Hugo, George and Hugo Alarcon; and sister, Gisela Alarcon.

Eugene D. Hammer

Private services were held for Eugene D. Hammer, 59, who died Saturday at his home.

Hammer was born Oct. 30, 1938, in Purcel, Okla.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; sons, Phillip and Darren Hammer; stepdaughters, Terry Spaethe, Roxann Rose, and Susan Zahnter; and stepson Daniel Spaethe - all of Lancaster.

Halley-Olsen Funeral Chapel, Lancaster, was in charge of arrangements.

James P. Munson

Private services were held for James P. Munson, a longtime Antelope Valley resident. He died Oct. 28 at age 81.

Survivors include his children, James Dale Munson of Tehachapi, Danny Russ Munson of Granada Hills, Richie Allen Munson of Long Beach, and Cindy Lynn Magorno of Barstow; sister, Dorothy A. Moore of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers, Rex W. Munson of Carson, and Harry L. Munson of Napa; and six grandchildren.

Murphy Mortuary Chapel, Lancaster, was in charge of arrangements.
