OAK PARK SCHOOL WILL THROW BASH TO THANK COMMUNITY : PICNIC TO SALUTE NEWLY WON HONOR.Byline: Michael Coit Daily News Staff Writer Medea Creek Middle School is throwing a picnic tonight and the entire community is invited. The picnic at the field behind the school is a way to thank the entire Oak Park community for contributing to the school's success, said Assistant Principal Liz Silverman. ``It's a very proud moment,'' she said. ``It's been a really exciting experience for us. I think it's the recognition that what we attempted is working.'' With 700 students in grades six through eight, Medea Creek parents and educators are planning a picnic for 2,000 at 6 p.m. today. The school is at 1002 Doubletree dou·ble·tree n.
