The Naval Sea Cadet Corps and Navy League Cadet Corps The Navy League Cadet Corps(NLCC) is the younger version of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC). Cadets in the NLCC range in age from 10 through 14. The mission of the NLCC is to train cadets so that they are prepared for the NSCC. offer youths the chance to experience Navy life before signing up for a four-year hitch. ``Personally I think the training is the most important part of all,'' said 15-year-old Kenneth Kelley, who joined the League when he was 12. ``It's a good way to keep kids in line so they learn discipline.
