PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- O'Brien Environmental Energy, Inc. (AMEX: OBS), a leading energy project developer, today announced its wholly owned subsidiary, Powerent, has delivered and installed a 10- megawatt "turnkey power station" at the Hoogovens Steelworks near Amsterdam, Holland. Powerent and another O'Brien subsidiary, Puma Power Plant, both headquartered in the United Kingdom, designed the system to meet Hoogovens' requirements. The system works in parallel with The Netherlands utility company to meet the peek demands of the local electricity system.

Twelve, self-contained, silenced generating sets, each in excess of 1,000 KW output, were shipped to the site, together with ten 1,000 KVA transformers to convert from 400v to 10,000v, four miles of cable, a 30,000-liter fuel tank and piping, and high voltage and low voltage switchgear and distribution systems as well as a specially designed and constructed containerized, 12-set synchronizing control panel.
